The best mech game play ever. only wish it had more maps and it was online. they need to make a new one with better graphics and online multilayer and more maps. plus better story line. more gadgets different svc’s. for how old the game is, its great, one of the best GAMES on xbox.

The game has tight controls and plays great with the Xbox S controller. Graphics still look good today in 2020. So, why not 5/5 stars? The dialogue in the game is excessive beyond the story itself and can make the story confusing to understand at times.
Phantom crash is by far one of my favorite Xbox games. This is able to be played on the 360 but you would have better luck on a regular Xbox because as some games do the reverse compadability doesn’t quite grab the game fully and it won’t be rare to have frame rate drops and your console as a whole freezing. Its an amazingly fun mecha game, customizations leave you a wide range of options and the action is fast paced for the genre. You may break your A button though skipping all the dialog because trust me there’s alot.
I don’t usually review something before I recieve it, but I have spent hours searching details, reviews, and videos of this game and have heard only great things about it. sure a few people were hating on it, but I tend to ignore negative reviews when the people reviewing it don’t give reasons why they don’t like it other than saying things like ‘the graphics suck’ or ‘the action was boring’ or some similar negative opinion with no comparison or reasoning. the action in this game is, a little too japanese, for all of us out there who don’t like the extreme asian style action that seems so far-fetched and unreal that it’s hard to get into it, but this game is definitely worth at least renting before you make a decision about buying it or not. I admit that if it was like gundam or something that seems more like giant people made of metal rather than machines I would not have ordered it in the first place, so me saying that this game looks good is something for you to take very seriously since I am pretty critical of japanese games, except street fighter and ridge racer of course. I am actually excited and very impatient to get this in the mail, any day now… (grrr)so for all of you out there who have wet dreams about games with extreme customization and intense fighting action, and big guns, and fighting machines, and intense music, and great muptiplayer, this is definitely for you! I heard it even has Halo style controls so you can jump right in! I will update this review as.
Played this game as a child. Decided to repurchase it, nostalgia glasses aside, this game is phenomenal for what it is.
Fave Xbox game, logged many a hour on this and never got tired of the fast paced, constant action in the battle arena.
I came across this game in Blockbuster MANY years back. I couldn’t find it in the stores near my house so i actually bought it from blockbuster, even though it was pretty scratched. Fast forward a bunch of years, and I’m missing the game so I pull it out and pop it in my 360, and it doe snot read at all! :( Luckily I found it here on retrolio! Perfect condition. :)
This is a great game you can modify the parts for your scoobee (tank robot thing) to fit your fiting style. The game has great graphics and a really good soundtrack with lots of songs for battle. The game dose get annoying in the way that all you are supposed to do is keep destroying a boss and move up in the ranking and don’t have like aquest to find something or stuff like that. This is one of the first gams I played for My Xbox but it was one of the best.
This is an absolute great game with no malfunctions at all. With nothing missing, this game worked perfectly even with the few scratches.
