I was expecting a long delivery process but the game came for me in a couple of days right before I had to go back to college. Game had no scratches just like they said and works perfectly!
This game alone is reason enough to buy an Xbox console people! A virtual city is your playplace, art studio, and fighting ring as you express yourself on walls, buses, pillars, and sewers through graffiti. The music is stunning, (Get "Aisle 10" by Scapegoat Wax now!) the graphics are hip and cartoony, and the gameplay is excellent. A variety of activites are given to you,f rom races, to copycatting moves, to finding someone as they runa way from you, to the classic spraypainting. The moves in the game are pretty simple, a major plus since some Xbox and PS2 games have about 60 moves you can preform with 3 buttons! Each new chapter you venture into has amazing scenery (If you don’t believe me at least play the game till you unlock 99th street…its stunning) and best of all you can design your own graffiti to put into the game that you spray on the walls. Besides unlockable characters their are the unlockable spraypaint designs that are totally amazing. Plus there are the multiplayer games which range from a battle-style race, to a spraypaint tag, to a get the most spraypaint up game….buy this game!
This game is awesome. The first was great and this one is even better. The music is awesome with the dolby digital sound. The cell shaded graphics totally fit the game style. A very unique and inivative game the is one of the best on xbox. They start you off slow and easy but it becomes very challenging. It is a game for the casual gamers and the hardcore ones. The multiplayer option is awesome too. There are many different modes. There also is alot of characters. DJ Professor K is cool and the storyline is highly original and just plain great. I’m glad it is in the new xbox package so people can experience this magnificant game. SEGA RULES!!
I rented this game for my XBox at first. Eventually, the game had to be returned to Blockbuster. But, I knew exactly what game was next on my wish list. The game has the most interesting storyline to date and it is great to play. This game gives you hours and hours of gameplay. It doesn’t take that long to intially complete the game, but you have all these other things you can do in the game. Collecting the Graffiti Souls gives you the opprotunity to gain new characters. This graphics are interesting but they are in no way bad. After playing the game for like six hours straight, you eyes will start to burn. But, I doubt anyone would do that. The tricks in this game are hot and the characters are great. This game is not as easy as one would think it to be, but it is great fun.
FAST. PERFECT. EASY.
The bottom line is this: If you played Jet Grind Radio for the Sega Dreamcast, you’ll LOVE JSRF. If you didn’t find the gameplay in JGR compelling, or were overly annoyed with its camera, the sequel will more likely than not not change your mind. That said, JSRF is one of the most visually interesting games to come around in recent memory, and it takes the cel-shading technique pioneered in JGR to new heights. The individual levels are enormous, and the sheer amount of detail is impossible to take in immediately. From a Shinkansen among the skyscrapers in the Shibuya terminal, to the intertwined rollercoasters of Sky Dinosaurian Hill, JSRF is a distinct generation leap in technology forward from anything else out there. The controls have been refined and simplified somewhat, from JGR – gone are the directional arrow markers for graffiti (and it’s not an omission that detracts from the game at *ALL*), and the camera and graffiti buttons have been separated (easily, the best control tweak made). Rails are easier to grind on, but the control scheme can be a little frustrating at times. Halfpipe controls are still quirky, and you’ll sometimes find yourself going the wrong way on a rail, and be "stuck", unable to get off it safely.Still, the minor control issues and finicky camera don’t detract from the *experience* of the game much – JSRF is still a fantastic world to explore. The soundtrack is *fabulous* as well, largely done by The Latch Brothers and Wavemaster’s own Hi.
this game is really fun. it takes place about 21 years in the future, and you skate around and do graffiti. this game has really good music, and you can make your own graffiti, it’s also a VERY VERY VERY GOOD challenge. my friend hasn’t beaten it and he’s the master of video games…well almost…lol
I will make this short since I am sure it will not be seen very often since the last review I noticed was a couple years ago.Lets be real. Today, eat console game you see that has a sports theme, besides one made by Nintendo, sports a medicore soundtrack, same dark and bland color theme, and does esentially the same thing. Jet Set Radio Future puts you into the shoes, or rollor blades, of someone and something a bit different. Sporting an excellent soundtrack you make your way around a huge city inspired by Current Day Pop Tokyo. The Colors used are bright and exciting and you can be assured when you play at least one thing in the game will give you a smile. The moves are simple enough to do and actually rather limited but that isnt the point of the game. You get points for moves but what you will find yourself doing most is either spraypainting walls for an objective or merely skating around while looking at the massive amount of detail that the developer put into this game. I would recommend this game to child or Adult alike. It is different and it is fun. I have logged over 70 hours in the game. Thats more than some multi-disked RPG games (FF7 took me 37 hours). My personal experience on this game is very positive. I almost feel I owe it this review for the days I was able to spend on it. Days where life beats you down a knotch and you need a smile. This game, to this day, puts a big smile on my face when I play it. I just love it. How can you not? A developer created a gam.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS TO PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN, AND ITS SO HARD TO FIND. THANKS FOR PUTTING IT UP. IT WAS MUCH APPRECIATED…AND WITHOUT ONE SCRATCH AFTER IT HAD BEEN OPENED. GREAT CONDITION.
