Fast shipping and in good condition! This game is a ton of fun! I played it when I was younger on the PC but purchased this version for my 360 years later and still enjoy it!Once you get more abilities it becomes super fun! I love the world and characters they created. So unique!
Story and characters are great, it has one of the best overworlds ever, the graphics, music and humor are god-like,and it is a blast to play. pick it up any way you can
It was awesome
Like all the good reviewers already said, this game is awesome. I’m just adding my 2 cents.I picked up a copy based on the reviews and all my other games just took a back seat this weekend to my exploring the warped world of what seems to be a well written book that I can play out in a video game scenario.Definately try this out. It IS a platformer though…You will feel that “go from this area to that area after exploring all the areas” but I’m only 4 hours into the game and I keep experiencing new flavorful adventures. So don’t get turned away from the “platformer” comments.
I received this game as a Christmas gift some time ago, but never got around to playing it because it looked kind of childish. I needed something to fill a space gap until my next game came out so I gave it a try. Overall, I was surprised. All the characters have their own thing going throughout the game which was fun to eavesdrop from time to time. Although the land itself, the campgrounds and the asylum, weren’t very big, they made up for it with extra effort in everyone’s mind. No two brains are alike and it’s kind of fun sorting out peoples emotional baggage and looking for past memories. I found several of the brain worlds entertaining and the stories were a nice touch. I’m not going to ruin anything so I’ll leave it at that. It’s a nice change from the other games I play and worth buying. If you ever get stuck, remember to use your bacon.
I know I am late to the game with this review, but forgive me…if this review manages to help one person decide to buy this game even this far out after the fact I will be happy. This game is amazing. The graphics have held up over time and range from childlike to surreal to terrifying depending on the levels. The level design is fantastic, which each level being its own universe with nothing repeating. The dialogue is hysterical, the plot is inventive and smart and funny…there is seriously nothing wrong with this game…
Love this game. Came in perfect condition and I’ve played through it with no glitches. Sweet!
Get this game! It’s really one of the best games I have played, and I had a hard time to find it anywhere, until I found it here. It’s really a lot of fun.
One of the greatest games ever made, impressed at the condition it was in too, very well done. Buy this game!
I’m a huge Tim Schaeffer fan, no one makes games like he does. Grim Fandango, Monkey Island series, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle…Schaeffer was the king of the adventure game. And then adventure games went away. Our loss, really. So Mr. Schaeffer has been working on this gem instead, and I’ve got to say, the humour is still there even though this is a platformer. Do not rush through this game, talk to everyone. There’s an awful lot of detail to this game, and a lot of laughs, but you have to talk to the people…you know, as you would in real life.Anyway, Psychonauts is a quirky story about a camp of young psychics training to become Psychonauts. A psychonaut can enter another persons mind and help with things like emotional baggage, mental cobwebs, and uncover damage to that persons psyche. What makes this so great is every time you enter another persons mind, the reality of that person is reflected in the environment you walk around. The military guys brain is a warzone, there’s a paranoid milkman whose brain is like all the conspiracy theories you’ve ever read wrapped into one universe.Hard to explain, but a joy to play. It saddens me that there’s only a few reviews out there, but if you’re looking for a really fun platformer on the Xbox, there’s none better.
