enter the matrix, what can you say? the game was awesome and exciting. i couldnt believe the way the game was put together. i did have one problem with the game, the ending was not so good.it had seemed, like there is a part two. but the overall game was fun and exciting to play. i am going to play again, but this time as ghost and not niobi. those who dont, need to try and see what me and others are talking about!
I was very skeptical about buying this game since it’s based on a film, having playing stinkers like LOTR and Spiderman. I am completely blown away. Not only are the graphics flawless, but the gameplay is fluid and fun… The controls can be a tad tricky at first, but after awhile you can master them… The AI in the game is actually smart. They wont come flying around tghe corner right into your attacks, but will hide and wait for you to peek around the corner… The Matrix’s signature movements (slow motion or ‘Focus’) makes this game truly unique allowing you to run on walls, kick off columns and use one opponent to kill another. THe game lets you control one of two characters at a time, on foot, in the air, or in the cars… Definately worth it :-) The tie in to the movie makes both the movie and game all the better, each complimenting eachother like never before. It is rated T, but it really could have been M with the amount of violence and language in it… I do have one problem with it, sometimes the camera views confuse me, but I am still not completely used to this particular game engine…
Enter The Matrix is one of the best games i have ever seen. After reading all the previews and seeing all the screen shots I decided to preorder it and you should to as i am still waiting for it to come out and it looks better and better!. Max Payne fans should start salivating here, as the focus system is very much like bullet time, except that there is alot more you can do. If u loved the movie then you will love this. Now the hacking system, this is incredible u can hack into your xbox and make guns, items etc appear anywhere on da map!! and download fight styles into yourself, now thats kool. I would like to give this game more stars but cant, it is a MUST BUY! for all the matrix fans or anyone looking for a really good game (ON XBOX OF COURSE!).
I really enjoyed playing this game, but it’s not my favorite, they could have done a lot to make it better. First of all, it’s to dark and colorless, they could have added a 2-player mode where you go through the story with both characters.When you see a agent you really do want to run! because they look so realistic. The graphics a really nicely done, games went up a point in graphic technology. If you haven’t played the game you haven’t seen the whole movie, when Niobie walks OUT of a room in the movie, she walks IN to the game. The game is based on Niobie and Ghost, and what they where doing through the movie that you didn’t get to see.But hey! now we know why you don’t get to play as Neo or Trinity… They where too busy smooching in the elivator to take part in the game… Personally I didn’t care for the romance at all in the movie, the Matrix does NOT seem like that type of film at all. I really hope they cut it down in the 3rd movie. One more thing I hope they do, is make another game based on the first film so you can play as Neo and Trinity. But they already named the game "Enter the Matrix" instead of "Reloaded" so I don’t know what they will do for a title.I still give it 5 stars because I had a fun time with it, and the movie 4 stars.
Really good game love it played tons of it both Xbox and PS2 not as good as Path of Neo though in my opinion huge Matrix movie fan tho the games are a must buy
This game is one of the best. With branching paths, this game is a must buy. A cool feature is hacking. It is almoast as big as the game itself.

The December 2002 Game Informer Magazine gave this a full-length feature, and it left little doubt that this is going to be a powerhouse game. Enter the Matrix is being developed with a close collaborative effort between gaming industry and Hollywood so that they can create a game experience “as rewarding as the movie.”There will be ultra-realistic character movements with the over 4,000 motion captures performed and encoded into the game. We are promised over 200 minutes of in-game cinematics and voices from the actors of the film including Keanu Reeves (bless his heart). You can play as Niobe or Ghost, and you play along side characters from the first movie (Neo and Morpeus). Screen shots look promising with plenty of special effects. Unless the something goes terrible wrong between now and the release of this game, we can expect ONE AWESOME GAME!
Enter the Matrix is a really good game, I don’t play it because I’m getting married soon and have a dog and a cat and 2 jobs, but I really enjoyed the Matrix movies and got them all from different locations really cheap, of all the places to get movies and games from it’s retrolio.com cause I got my game, it’s in new shape, and really alot cheaper than I would pay from in a store.-Rob C
When I heard about this game, I didn’t think it would be much more than a re-make of Max Payne (which is an awesome game nontheless). But when I bought it I was blown away by the realistic looking faces and unbelievable cut-scenes. Did I mention the real movie cut-scenes done by the real actors? This game is a Matrix movie in and of itself. With a special “Hacking” feature, you can actully “hack” into the Matrix mainframe. I use this feature to insert many cheat codes that make life in the Matrix soooo much easier. I could beat the game without them, but this just speeds things up. You can also unlock secret messages from Morpheus, Trinity, Neo, and many more other characters. I played this game after seeing “The Matrix Reloaded” movie and couldn’t believe how well the storyline ties in with the movie. The decisions you make in the game actually affect the outcome at the end. It’s actually 2 games in one since the gameplay as Ghost is totally different from that of Naiobi. Oh, and with a certain cheat, the game becomes a multi-player fighting arena. Yeah, Enter The Matrix goes Tekken. Awesome!!! Well, I hope this review persuades you to invest in this amazing peice of the Matrix Trilogy. Sure, the graphics can be a bit choppy at times, but the overall experience is definitely worth the bucks.
Started to play the game today and its worth playing. The level designs are pretty good and the FMV is worth watching but whoever designed the control system for the character movement should be sacked !
