Welcome to the Castlevania story with Castlevania 2 Simons Quest where we last left Simon Belmont after he defeated Dracula in his own fortress Castlevania. So let’s see what has transpired.(Opens book)Castlevania Chapter 2 Simons QuestPlot/Story: It is the year 1698; seven years after Simon Belmont originally defeated the evil Count Dracula. After Simon delivered the final coup de grace to the Prince of Darkness, the Count placed a dark curse upon him that would send him to an early grave unless Simon revived him! Moreover, Dracula’s minions are once again stirring throughout the land of Transylvania, ravaging throughout the many villages and terrorizing the townsfolk. Simon takes up the legendary whip, the Vampire Killer, once again and travels throughout the land to the towns of Jova, Veros, Aljiba, Aldora, Oldon, Fetra, and Ghulash to liberate the people and seek help from them as he searches for the Count’s body parts which have been hidden in five different dark manors (Berkeley, Rover, Brahms, Bodley, and Laruba) throughout the land. Once all the parts of Dracula’s body were in place, Simon took them to the ancestral home of the count, Castlevania, and revived him, fighting him once again, and this time finishing him for good (or so the people thought, though Dracula would return in the18th Century)…Gameplay: The gameplay departs from the standard platforming genre of the first Castlevania for a game more similar to the nonlinear gameplay of Metroid, with several RPG.
I got this game a day Earlier then expected which is pretty Cool!, I use to have this game as a kid and that’s one of the reasons I bought it to relive some memories & the Game looks great it’s in Almost Perfect Condition, I’m Happy with my Purchase. :)
One of my favorites reliving my childhood with my son, making memories. I will be ordering others for our collection.
When I picked up Castlevania II, I thought I would get the same kind of framework as the first, but nope. This is more of an RPG and one that continues the legacy in a lot of different ways. It can be frustrating at first glance, but it’s really a matter of patience and reward. If you stick with it, you will find that this quest is awesome and features some great gloomy moments. I love the game, and if you give it time, you will definitely gain a serious hold on the supernatural, within the world of Castlevania. It’s not the best in the series, but it’s a rewarding sequel that I recommend you play again. Just be patient, and learn the nuances found inside.
i love the game one of the best nes game series there is altho the first ones the best of the series
With the negative reputation this game gets I still find some enjoyment out of itThe description was correctStill plays fineSticker in good condition
Still one of the best castlevania series~!!!
Enough people disliked this game that is now has a reputation of being awful. Truthfully told, it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. It’s non-linear game play is different from the first and third games, and takes some getting used to. But if you take the time to play it, you will enjoy it. With all the online walkthroughs now available, it’s easy to play this game with a little help when you get stuck.
Great game. It’s hard to argue with anything that brings you back in time to your childhood when times were good and life was simple. Can not go wrong with any original Nintendo game.
