Tales of The World Radiant Mythology is the fifth installment in the Tales of The World Series. Like other Tales of The World games characters from past Tales games join you on your adventure. This is a very good “pick up and play” game as you could play for five minutes or five hours depending on what mood you’re in and stop playing when you get bored or tired..Gameplay 8/10The gameplay in Tales of The World Radiant Mythology is quest based or mission based as I like to call it. You accept missions from the Guild which can consist of fetch quests to rescue missions. The story quests are marked in blue and appear after you’ve earned enough points to do them. This point system is called fame points. Fame points are used to make story quests become available as well as to get the Tales characters to join you and if you are too low on fame points you may have some trouble recruiting them. However, if you are having trouble recruiting Tales characters there are also regular “Mercenaries” you can recruit. These “Mercenaries” unlike the Tales characters will level up alongside you even when you don’t use them and are pretty powerful despite what some people might think. The battle system is possibly the greatest aspect this game has to offer. This game uses the 3D battle field that Tales of The Abyss had and this reviewer just loves it. You can have anywhere from one to four characters in your party at a time and they stay with you either until you go back to the inn a.
Yay
Great game if you like the tales series.
Very good edition of the tales franchise just wish that the lvl grinding was easier, the create a char is too limited imo
The fun aspects of this game is the ability to customise your own character hero or heroine, even how they will sound during battle sequence. Many familiar faces, especially if you were an all-time Tales fan like I am and having fun recognizing the characters as they join you in quests. The downside to the game, is that your character’s is simple, abit too simple. You mostly travel between three selected places and most of the characters interact in the same village. The quests can become tedious, you will have to pick certain quests to continue the main storyline.Otherwise, graphics are great and follows the recent Tales battle system. Overall an interesting dungeon crawling game.
Came brand new. retrolio really is dependable. I only order from you guys. You guys are awsome. This game is terrific. Nothing wrong what so ever and came on time if not before the expected date. I love it. Keep doing what your doing
I am a huge fan of Tales of the Abyss for Playstation 2 and this game has Luke and Tear among other bonus characters from other Tales Series games. Luke and Tear are from the timeline from just after Tear teleported them away from the kingdom, when she tried to kill her brother and it caused the hyperresonance, so they haven’t really became "Best Buddies" just yet, nor does Luke come equipped with Neblim sword, lol, I thought I’d mention that, because it sure would have been nice if they did use the timeline after Tales of the Abyss for Luke and Tear. But other then that, its a great game with lots of fun missions. Oh, some of the maps can get confusing, but if you hit the select button to enlarge the map display it makes it a whole lot more easier to back track and navigate when you need to !!!
It is the game I bought a PSP for last month. Having played Tales of the World 3: Narakiri Dungeon (Japanese Import), Symphonia, Phantasia (Game Boy Advance Version) and Tales of the Abyss, I can tell you your money is well spent when you buy this game.Like the other Tales games, Radiant Mythology unique battle system keeps you focused at all times. Although the Story and seemingly broken customization system leaves you wanting, the fact that characters from every Tales game released up to now is in it (some playable) is enough for any Tales fan out there. It’s an awesome buy for anyone looking to try something new. I’d reccommend getting it through retrolio as it’s become near-impossible to find in stores.
Excellent!
