i preordered this, and retrolio was supposed to give you a credit for preordering it or something? i can’t remember, it was so long ago and i never left a review…. but i remember not getting a credit, so i complained to retrolio, and they gave me a partial credit.anyways, it was a fun game while it lasted. it got pretty repetitive, but still fun. but i stopped playing after the next generation (prestige) requirement was to kill a buncha people with a gun that i hated. it made the game super annoying having to use that gun that i didn’t even like playing anymore, so i went back and played with different guns that i liked and stopped regenerating. and eventually stopped playing all together.i look forward to titanfall 2
Good quality and a very good price
Tired of the played-out and unimaginative Call of Duty yearly affair? The IMC/Militia wants you! Titanfall, from the people behind the last truly awesome Call of Duty games have made a game that somehow feels refreshingly new and somewhat addicting. Admittedly, we all played it at first because of the novelty of the Titans, huge, towering mechanical bipeds that unleash hell and fury on their enemies, but underneath what would otherwise be a simple gimmick the game itself has mechanics that make it play different if only fast paced every time. Titanfall takes achievements one step ahead by introducing burner cards, which are cards that you earn while completing in-game challenges and that add particular abilities that enhance your gameplay. Like using SMGs? There’s a burner card that "amps" your shots. Need to level up faster? There’s a card that increases the ammount of experience you make before you die. The gameplay is a nice change of pace too in terms of just running around aimless with no goals in sight, where you now also have extraction as an end of game scenario which adds a whole nother dimension of urgency to where the game goes after the score goal has been met. Essentially, most of what ails in modern FPS games has somehow been addressed here, and as a new studio we can only look forward to whatever will come next in the franchise. In short, if you like run-n-gun shooters but you’re fatigued by EA’s yearly milking of the stale Call of Duty cow, this is your.
I really get a kick out of some people, this title was up for beta testing before the xbone was stated for release on the XBOX360 (1st) once the xbone got released they played the dumb role of the 360 title isn’t ready (ONLY to push the xbone titanfall console).Game is cool 1 big issue for the 360 you can not install title to your HDD(lost as to why HDD is required)My save file is on a thumbstick (sort of as it is saved on the game server not the HDD).
Only played a couple of games but was having fun the whole time. A lot of room for customizing your setup for your own gaming style.
This is not your dad’s COD game. The game play is fast and intense! IT"S INSANE! But, in a good way! The weapons, the environments, the Titans and the game play have all been tooled to give you a awesome experience! There is an "intro" which helps you familiarize yourself with the basics of game play! The only criticism is in the length of the intermissions, but, if you’d like to grab a snack, pour a soda, hit the bathroom or fix yourself a sandwich, then you’ll be fine with it!
Bought for grandkids and they are happy with it.
Excellent game! The gameplay is really fluid and intuitive. The controls are pretty easy to get used to. The only annoyance I have is with multiplayer. I don’t mind foregoing the campaign as long as the multiplayer is good. The multiplayer is good but you can’t have multiple players on one Xbox. I think it’s ridiculous that they couldn’t include one of the most important features. Over than that it’s great!
This was a gift
Giant robots. Advanced warfare technology. When you combine the two, you get great battles! The multiplayer is rather good! You get a ton of different weapons and skills that you can use. Only downfall is that there isn’t a devoted single player mode/campaign. Other than that, you’ll get hours of fun with this game!
