So about the pre ordering I ordered this early May and got the same email three days ago about it not gonna show up for another month so I canceled the order and just bought it on the PlayStation store well worth it great game.
Great. Takes me back. Although…where is the same create a skater that I remember. It ised to be fully customizable. Fully….
Just like the originals but done better!New tricks and mechanics for the game but still very familiar and fun.The levels were the same as 1 & 2 but revamped with newer graphics.
Its like reliving my childhood. All I need is a big can of Jolt Cola and im set. Game is awesome and the graphics got so much better.
Amazing. Even better than the originals.
This Game is brilliant and supports local and online multiplayer. Its super addictive and fun to play. It allows you to jump in and out both thps 1+2 levels easily. It also has the create a park mode as you would expect and you can download cool fan made maps online or share you own maps with friends. It allows you to create your own character with fresh customisable outfits and you earn money like the old games to buy cool stuff for your character. The gameplay is similar to the orignals with no loading in and out levels and allows you to restart the levels easily. Theres also a free skate mode if you wanna have fun with in levels and practice tricks. The buttons are the same as the original games so it was easy to jump into it from playing the old classics. There is a brilliant tutorial for newbies and you can customise the buttons for all the different tricks, the start screen allows you to quickly reference the trick buttons incase you forget too! You can also play all the original skaters plus new skaters. The graphics look amazing and fresh with all the original soundtrack from the game plus new songs. I picked this up the day it came out for only £35 which is amazing. VicariousVisions has created a true remaster of these old tony hawk games and is well worth the buy for both adults and kids alike. Get the game if you want a feel good experience and if you are a fan of the old Neversoft Tony Hawk game series.
This is a good game. Review outlets are getting that much right. Here’s what they’re rarely (if ever) admitting though:This rebuild from Vicarious Visions may leave a bad taste in your mouth at times, especially if you’re someone who noticed the jump changes in their Crash Bandicoot outing. The control inputs here are noticeably optimized for joystick over the d-pad. Jump height and distance, along with momentum, can be pretty unreliable. Moves are randomly delayed; sometimes failing to register at all—this mostly happens during transitions. While much has been made of the improved graphics, there’s a lot of muddy texture fills popping all over the place (primarily at a distance). The game is quite dark in a lot of places. The stages feel less arcade-like, which causes certain objectives to be difficult to spot. The camera seems closer to the skater, which also makes traversal harder. Some things about the locales have been altered. And there’s a noticeable delay of about 5 seconds when restarting a run. That doesn’t sound like much, but you’re apt to encounter this hundreds of times. The menus are somewhat convoluted (think Trials Rising). And, the music volume sits midway in the mix, even at the loudest setting. I had to lower the noise effects, then increase the TV volume significantly to resolve this. Most of these things can be resolved in a patch. And the rest are pretty mild annoyances. I just hope all the uncritical praise the game’s receiving doesn’t see its flaws ig.
Exactly like the old ones only better graphics completely amazing games
This is an example of a near-perfect remake. The gameplay feels wonderful. The graphics are beautiful. The sounds are great! The music is all the old hits, with some modern takes. Challenges are challenging. I love this game. I would happily pay $40 for it like I did. Bravo Activision!
I love this game, I used to play the second one on PS1 long time ago.
