The GBA is by far the best handheld system ever made, way better than the Game Boy Color.The graphics on it are better than the Super Nintendo and just as good as the PS1!There is a huge variety of games including sports, RPG, Mario games, adventure games, fighting games and much, much more! Some great games on the GBA are MarioKart Advance, Sonic Advance, Super Mario World, Driver 3, and Madden 2002.Not only can you play GBA games on the Advance, but you can also play Game Boy Color games and Game Boy games. The sound quality is also great for a handheld and the battery power lasts 15 hours or more.The only problem is that like the GBC you need to have a lot of light to be able to see good enough to see.At a low price of less than 70 dollars and the same price as the Game Boy Color, this handheld system is a MUST-HAVE.

The Game Boy Advance (Glacier) is a wonderfully entertaining product. The graphics are phenomenal for most games and the controls are awesome. For us people with larger hands, your fingers might get a bit cramped after playing for a while, but it’s a trade-off for it being so compact. The GBA is perfect for all ages except the very young and with a huge variety of games, there is something for everyone. I play it when travelling and after hard days at work. Also, the Glacier color is awesome! My only complaint about it is that the screen is not backlit. Maybe there’s a reason for that besides price, but if you have decent lighting, you can see the screen just fine. You’ll be amazed at the huge amount of colors and well, just about everything else! Buy this unit…especially at such a great price!
Its great! Got this for x-mas, and its loads of fun. The best part is you can play any gameboy game. The GBA games are great, while you can pick up GB and GBC games used for cheap…. One of the problems I’ve had is running through batteries so fast, and the fact that the gameboy does not have an internal light, which makes it hard to play in the dark.

The new Game Boy is great, I got one for Christmas and, it has 32 bit graphics and already has tons of games for it, playable for up to 4 players with a game link. It also convientally plays all prior Game Boy games and fits into my Game Boy carring case. The screen is bigger than the one on Game Boy Color and you can also hook it up to a GameCube to play on the big screen. I reccomend getting Mario Kart for it as a first game.
Love this thing, bring back some good memory. Unless you’re buying it for nostalgia value, would recommend buying the Gameboy sp for backlit screen or ds.
Bought it for my daughter. Compaired to the GameBoy this unit is ten times better. The old unit was very hard to view, the screen was smaller, even with a light it was hard to see.This unit has two screen sizes, no glare problem with a screen so much easier to see.The games are easier to play, smaller and allot easier to keep track of. I would give this 10 stars if they had them!
