I like this game because the graphics are cool, there are all sorts of enemies coming and you have to really focus when you are fighting a boss. The heros have different gun weapons like flame thrower or a an electronic laser beam. I like the way you can change into different characters. That gives more variety to the game. You need to change characters at the right time so strategy is important. The bosses are difficult because they have different elements. Kids ages 6-16 will enjoy this game. Its a game that you can master but also you can enjoy it for a long time.
I have experienced this game before on my wii and I loved the game I unfortunately had to sell the wii and I want to finish this game
Bionicle games run a wide range in quality, with the worst inspiring questions like "Was this game programmed by a tree falling repeatedly on the developers’ keyboards?". Fortunately, this game represents the opposite end of the spectrum. Not only is this the best Bionicle game ever sold, it rivals the peaks set by the website games that were so well-regarded.Bionicle Heroes is a cross-platform title, with dramatically different versions. On console, BH is a 3rd-person lock-on shooter. On GameBoy, it is something of a twin-stick shooter. Here, on the Nintendo DS (the best version, mind you), it is a First Person Shooter. While that might seem like an odd choice at first, it makes sense; Metroid had established the genre could work well on the handheld, and since Call of Duty had released many titles on the platform throughout its main years, it was only natural to give it a go here. And while BH may not quite be at the same level of what Metroid pulled off, BH feels like a close second, with blockier biomechanicle characters looking better for the hardware limits than the realism-focus CoD tries to aim for (pun intended).Gameplay works really well, regardless of which control scheme you choose. Point the gun, shoot the gun, Visorak dies. Genre staples. Since this is made by Traveller’s Tales, the developers of all games LEGO, there are a few elements from that series too; in particular, you pick up "studs" for currency (here technic gears instead of 1×1 circul.
If you’re a fan of LEGO Bionicle and great games for the DS, you’ll love this one. The storyline of the game is this: The Paraka have stolen the Toa’s masks and it’s up to you to retrieve them. There’s 37 fairly big levels for you to play through, and 7 different weapons for you to use on your quest. The graphics look great for the DS, and the angular look of LEGO Bionicle characters transfer on to the DS really well. It includes enemies from all “eras” of the Bionicle timeline, and as a LEGO fan, I personally had a lot of fun seeing the Bionicle figures that I have the LEGO sets for come to life on the screen. The enemy AI is surprisingly complex for a DS FPS,they’ll dodge your attacks, hide behind walls, and they’ll come at you almost non-stop. But thankfully you can hide behind a wall and your ammo and health will be recharged automatically. The controls are pretty easy to learn right off the bat, and there’s plenty of unlockables, so you’ll want to re-play all of the levels once you obtain all of the Toa’s powers. If you’re looking for a well-made FPS, and you’re a fan of LEGOs, I highly recommend you give this one a try.
my grandson like the game.
My grandson loves this game. He’s all into the Bionicles. I’m glad that you had it for me. Thank you.
Very fun FPS on a system that had very few of them. Also pays homage to longtime fans of Bionicle.
This is one of the better Bionicle games out there. We have bought a few for our son, Bionicle fan, and this one he can actually play and get through some of the levels.
When I purchased this game a few months ago, I thought that LEGO would have teamed with a low-grade game designer. When I received this product I began to play I was proved very wrong. At first the levels seemed pretty easy but, when I reached the first boss level I was defeated repeatedly until I found a tactical cover zone. As I progressed, I saw many older Makuta controlled rahi. Even though I finished the game pretty quickly, I think my it was from playing other combat based games. After beating the levels essentially, it is key to go back later and explore the level in order to find “runes” and other pick-ups.
The product was great, a fun game to play.
