007 The Worlds Not Enough and 007 Goldeneye are both great James Bond games.
Continue from the 1997 FPS classic, The World is Not Enough was another solid 007 game that defined a good single-player experience and great multiplayer. The story feels much better than GoldenEye with great voice acting and improve difficulty and objectives. Multiplayer remains the same as GE with new characters and weapons. The only minor flaw of this game that it requires a Controller Pack to save a memory file, which is very inconvenient to work properly.TWINE 007 was a great N64 game, but GoldenEye remained on top in terms of multiplayer. A movie-license game done very well!
This game has a great solo campain but the multi-player is where it is at in my opinon. There is a lot of weapons to choose from as well as characters and unlockables.Gameplay: Pretty straight foreward. I have found something cheap in it with the AI. They are cheap when with fully automatic weapons you hear a bang and you are dead. Well that is how it is for me.Sound: Pretty real… not much more to say..Story: Not to complex.Overall: A great buy for the multi-player. The single player is fine but no where near as fun as the multi-player.
Shipped on time. Works wonderfully.
Works fine :)
I am a pretty big 007 fan, and I purchased this game a day or so after it released. The single player missions are fun and I keep playing them over and over. The graphics are great, considering it is an N64 game. The storyline comes right from the movie, which is great. The characters also follow the movie. The multiplayer portion of the game is good, my friend and I play it a lot. But one thing I don’t like and you may not either is the fact that you cannot have good characters fight bad characters.I like this game a lot, and I believe EA could have made a few changes that would have made the game much better. Also, the multiplayer arenas are slightly confined and small.I enjoyed Perfect Dark and Goldeneye better, but this game is a must-have for and fans of FPS’s and Bond.
I originally bought this to replace a game I thought was broken ( a really really good cleaning fixed it X.x). I wanted to relive the intense storyline from beginning to end. The infamous Bond has a to save Electra, but as most spy games go, you have to get through a lot of obstacles. There is sneaking, chasing, stealth shooting, and some major action sequences. For a game of it’s time, it definitelly will have you on the edge of your seat in frustration and appreciation.
What could be said about Goldeneye on the 64 that hasn’t been said before? Yes, Goldeneye was an absolutely fantastic game that knocked all PlayStation 1 games on their butts. Then, three years later, EA came out with The World is Not Enough. Now, the game has a lot of things in its favor. The polygon count and frame rates and overall graphics are worlds above what Goldeneye had. Not only that, the game has actual cutscenes, with dialogue! The voice acting is really bad, but, come on, do you really expect professional vocal work for a Nintendo version of a game? As far as general gameplay goes, imagine Goldeneye’s style, but fine tuned. The controls are tight and responsive in any of the four control schemes. The one real downfall of this game is that it is just too short for its James Bond logo. Goldeneye was easily 8 hours, and this clocks in around 5 on the easiest difficulty. On the hardest setting, Goldeneye is over 10 hours, with this one being at most 7 and one half hours. Overall, this is a fine successor to Goldeneye, and is an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I give 007 The World is Not Enough an 8 out of 10.
This game rocks! I am a diehard Golden Eye fan, and was sceptical at first. Give this one a try. The "Bad Guys" move better, and are more random than Golden Eye. There are also more of them as you increase the difficulty level. The game has a great "feel". You actually get nervous as you creep around a corner. This promises to be a game to be played over and over. The first level is not a good representation of the game. It gets MUCH better.P.S. The game’s a lot better than the movie (nothing against Pierce Bronson or 007, and hope they make another movie soon with a decent story)
I like this one better than Golden Eye, personally. Been a favorite of mine for 10+ years.
