WWE WrestleMania XIX
WWE WrestleMania XIX is a professional wrestling video game released for the GameCube by THQ in 2003. Based on the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It is the sequel to WWE WrestleMania X8. However, the roster consists of around sixty-nine WWE wrestlers between May 6, 2002 and March 31, 2003. As the WWE was beginning to shift its momentum from the Attitude Era into the Ruthless Aggression Era.
Unlike the previous game and other contemporary WWE games. WrestleMania XIX does not feature a conventional story/career mode in which players control a particular wrestler in a series of matches. Instead, the game features “Revenge Mode” a mission-based mode in which players try to achieve certain goals in various locations outside of the ring. Also most of the background music of the game was in the Xbox game WWE Raw 2. And the PlayStation 2 game WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain.
Revenge Mode
In Revenge Mode, players can select any superstar on the roster (except for Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon) or a create superstar. So the story begins with the player being drag out of an arena by security guards and literally toss into the street. Later, the player encounters Stephanie McMahon. But Stephanie notices that the player wants revenge on Vince McMahon for firing them. And the player and Stephanie devise a plan to ruin Vince’s flagship pay-per-view, WrestleMania. But to do this, the player is sent to various locations and must combat workers and wrestlers hire as security (both authentic and created who are generate and unlock randomly) they encounter in each location. With objectives such as disrupting a construction site, sinking a WWE own shipment barge. And destroying a mall that was set up for fan festivities.
After the player completes objectives in the perimeter areas, they fight Vince at WrestleMania XIX in a match. However, if the player wins, Stephanie appears to congratulate the player. But immediately regrets the deal, getting spear by Goldberg and seemingly disappearing into cash.

This game is amazing. Revenge mode is probably the best thing I’ve ever played in a Wrestling game. It takes you outside the ring and puts you up against security guards, backstage workers, construction workers, etc. I’ve played this mode probably 50 times since I got my first copy years ago. And the exhibition mode plays almost exactly like Day Of Reckoning. Best wrestling game on the GameCube by far. My only wish is that they would make another game with a revenge mode like this and with this game engine.
When I played this game I Played it hours and hours. The only wrestling game to come close to this game was Smackdown SYM.I recommend Anyone who reads this to buy or rent this game. The Hitman
This is the best game ever like really 3d graphics from my point of view the best of the best wwe game
YESTERDAY ME AND MY COUSIN BRIAN WENT TO THE MALL. WE WENT TO GAMESTOP.BRIAN GOT DAY OF RECKONING 1 AND I GOT WRESTLEMANIA XIX. THEN WE CAMEBACK TO MY HOUSE TO SEE WHICH GAME WAS BETTER. I THOUGHT WRESTLEMANIA 19WAS BETTER AND BRIAN THOGHT WRESTLEMANIA 19 WAS BETTER TO. I LOVEDDAY OF RECKONING I TO AND IT IS BETTER THAN DAY OF RECKONING 2 BUTWREASTLEMANIA 19 IS BETTER. I LOVED REVENGE MODE. THE GAME IS AWESOME.
this game is great.u could do 619 with rey mesterio by making them dizzy near rope and then u do ur special and run to the rope and come back and press ab and controll stick facing the ring and u will do the 619.the graphinc are amazing and the people special are cool.i love doin the royal rumbal and all the exhibition games they are really fun.i didnt like the story mode but still beat it.it is realy hard to beat it and frustrating.i love everything else though including king of the ring when u in a tornament trying to get the title belt and when u get the title belt they remeber u still own it and u could defend it.this game is really really fun.if u get this game try the 619 its cool to do it but it takes practice.
Amazing!
WWE Wrestlmania XIX is by far one of the nicest looking wrestling games around. It has many high notes as well as a few.One of the high notes is that the create a wrestler has an option that I want to see transfer over to the other games, customize your own entrance movement. When I was creating Ironman he had one of the coolest entrances I have seen thanks in part to the ability to customize it.Another high note is that it is more focused on grappling and countering. While the counters are more about hit or miss it makes for a nice adjustment when compared the more brawling style of Smackdown. Now for the low point, Revenge mode. Revenge mode is basically this games attempt at story mode, but the story is the same no matter what. The idea is that your wrestler (In my case Goldberg) has been terminated by Vince McMahon. Stephanie however has plans to have you ruin Vinces Wrestlemania. To do so you must go through 4 different areas each holding six stages that all deal with the promoting and building of Wrestlmania. You bounce between a Construction sight, Parking Garage, Mall, and SHipping Harbour all in an attempt to ruin Wrestlmania. The story itself is very weak in that it is the same for everyone. THe only plus side is that you get money for SHopzone. However it would be all right if the camera would cooperate. There are levels where timing is everything and if you screw up you lose. Well the camera doesn’t help much and you end up very pissed off.OVerall this.
Last night I played Goldberg vs Brock in a cage match and IJackhammered Brock off the top of the cage. Guess he landed onthe floor in Goldberg’s jackhammer position pin, and I won.The arena that I played in was at Wrestlemania. Next match I played in was also at that same arena was in a Ironman matchpin falls anywhere also my favorite BLOOD!!!!! On Smackdown Iwas on the titantron and Brock was landing on the titantron andI spear him and I jackhammered him and got the victory. If youare a Goldberg fan well here’s his website Thank you. if you want to email me about the game here’s my emailaddress willyflat2004@aol.com
This game is good. There is a lot more realism in the game. The main complaint is revenge mode and I have to agree. The plot is pretty weak, but the environements are good. The versus play has been improved greatly. Finally you can slam a guy through the top portion of a cell and the buying weapons bit is pretty cool. They are missing a few things. You can’t go backstage like in here comes the pain and the elimination chamber match is missing. This game is pretty good buy for any wrestling fan, but I do advise Smackdown here Comes the Pain if you have a PS2.
