Having already owned ‘House of the Dead, Overkill!’, I have been searching for part 2 & 3 and found it on retrolio. Both part 2 & 3 are on one game disk. Part 2 is ok. Part 3 gets better everytime I play it. As your skill level increases, so does the difficulty of the game. It becomes faster, more zombies and creatures come out of the woodwork, new special features appear…I was originally worried that once I beat it, then it would be boring. Well, it hasn’t. Part 3 is a zombie killing bonanza! The graphics are not bad for an older game. Not lifelike, but the game isn’t meant to compete with RPG games. It’s just a fun game that has kept me entertained!
Most of my Wii-related purchases are made with the thought of being able to play them with my girlfriend, and this game is great.I got hooked on House of the Dead a few summers ago in an arcade in Ocean City, MD, and when I saw this for $20, I got it along with a couple of
Love this game. Graphics have been horrible my whole life lol (it is just a wii game) but it is super fun and just like the arcade game. This game means alot to me as it is a family favorite.
Amazing game. If you’ve played this in the arcade as a kid then this will definitely bring back memories. This is definitely a title to add to your library.
I have played both these games on other system, but this was the first time I’ve had a chance to play both with motion control. It literally feels like the arcade for multiple reasons. I’m going to mention the one reason that I’m betting will turn off some players. In order to reload, you have to aim off screen. No button presses for reloading this time. It’s not a big deal if you ask me but all the other versions allow you to use a button to reload and it really can have an effect on your strategy. Other than that, I find it easier in the long run. The ridiculous voice overs for the second one still crack me up….worth the purchase for the second one alone.
It’s just like playing this at the arcade
If you love on rail light gun shooters this is what I consider to be one of the best, if not the best.It comes with House of the dead 2 and 3 .Part 2 was on dreamcast and 3 was on xbox both where ported from Arcade.even though the games are dated as far as graphics they have a nice look to them and run very nice. The voice acting is very dated kinda cheesy but in a good way.As far as I can tell nothing was added to this version just port of the 2 classic games , but I think I would be mad if they changed any thing. This is a great port, almost better then the originals because the wii mote dose not work like a normal light gun so there is not flash for ever shot fired.Easyer on the eyes more accurate. If you own a Wii get this game
Yeah, I’m a little late to the party on this one. This game came out how long ago???I wanted a good, inexpensive shooter. That’s what I got. The price is more than fair for this port of the original arcade games. The extra modes are actually interesting. Well, I’d say I don’t care for “Training Mode”. No room for error, you miss one thing, it ends, and you start over. Really? Need a better option for that, but I digress.I think this game holds up pretty well, even with the cheesy dialog.
Works perfectly, disk is in great condition, shipped faster than retrolio predicted. House of the dead 2 and 3 returned is perfect for solo players, hangouts and family nights. Many thanks to shop!!!!
This is a very fun rail-shooter that I remember playing as a kid in the arcade. The graphics are “ok” (seem to be the same as back in the day). Some parts of the game were very easy, but others can be extremely difficult. I am a huge zombie fan and basically own a Wii to play the zombie shooters.
