Great gift for my son. Wanting him to experience some of the 80’s. I had a 2600 growing up so it bring me joy to know he can experience a piece of my childhood.
Glad this had both types of joysticks. I purchased one last year that only had the original joystick. Both type are necessary.
Love playing all the games we grew up with. This was the hit of Christmas night. Generations taking turns playing games and reminiscing. System works good.
I loved the 2600 as a kid, and this is very nostalgic. No Pac Man or Ms. Pac man, but other than that, a total trip down memory lane. I know other folks had problems with these systems, which is a real bummer, but mine works just fine, at least so far! My husband originally bought me the Flashback 7 at Urban Outfitters, but when we opened it on Christmas morning, there was only one joystick, so we went ahead and ordered this newer model from retrolio. As many others have said, the joysticks won’t work properly if the paddles are connected to the unit. Another hint: my TV wouldn’t recognize it at first, so I disconnected the paddles, and then it found it just fine. So if you’re having trouble with the hook up, make sure the paddles aren’t connected. Overall, a total hoot and real nostalgia trip.
I grew up playing Atari so I thought I would add it to my collection or items. Lots of games. Good memories.
Purchased as a Christmas gift for my family. Works great…no issues. My only wish is that Pacman was part of the bundle.
The L controller doesn’t work.
