I own most of the best simulator games for the Sega Genesis platform. This one looked worth having as well, but I could never find it when it was new. Prepare to spend many long hours into this recreation of the South Pacific campaign of World War II. Play as either the allied forces (US) or Japan. I am far from mastering the game, but I find it interesting enough to put a good amount of time into it trying to do so.
It is exactly as described. It works just like the original.

Micromanage the entire pacific theater from just before Pearl Harbor to operation Olympus (Land invasion of Japan, which never happened). Research new technology, build new ships, formulate a strategy to retake the pacific islands, try to turn Pearl Harbor into an ambush, destroy their fleet, history is yours to toy with. A classic Genesis game!
