my sons friend use to have this game and sold it so he wanted it again to replay it. he was thrilled.
The disk was in brand new condition and it plays perfect. Overall I would review this game as "flippin excellent!"
Great game inspired by the clasic Super mario flash games. Many hours of great and engaging entertainment. This game has an emphasis on story telling, so this game would be great f
This is probably the best game I’ve ever played. If you like RPGs, and the Mario universe characters, this one is for you. And if you don’t like PRGs and/or Mario, just give it a try. It laughs at everything in RPGs and Mario. It is very fun, entertaining and has very nice art style. It can be played in either a GameCube or a backward compatible Wii (and the Dolphin emulator in your PC).It is probably better than the original Paper Mario, and definitely better than Super Paper Mario, and Paper Mario Sticker Star. The best memory I have of it is being in the middle of the night finishing the Pit of 100 Trials (after million of tries), and cannot go to sleep even having to get up early the next day for class. This is how engaging it is.
Really good condition of the game box art and the game is in great working condition.
good
It’s rare for me to spend a lot of time on any one game; I’m just not a huge gamer. That said, I’ve recently been picking up a few Gamecube games for my Wii, and Paper Mario TTYD blew me away.Gameplay is fairly simple and easy; the turn-based battles are great for someone like me who won’t spend hours trying to master perfect button sequences to launch special moves. The characters are entertaining, and at times it seems more like reading a novel than playing a game, one that the writers had a lot of fun with (I’ve found myself laughing at the game more than once).I’m about 20 hours into the game and I would consider this one of the top 3 video games I’ve ever played. I’m definitely looking forward to checking out Super Paper Mario after I finish.Edit: I’ve long since finished the game (it took about 50 hours, I think…time well spent!) I now have several dozen Wii titles, but with the exception of Wii Sports and Trauma Center, none of them even come close to this game. (Including, unfortunately, Super Paper Mario; it was a neat idea, but the execution falls far short of Thousand Year Door). If you have a Wii or Gamecube and don’t mind reading well-written dialogue, you -need- this game.
Perfect conduction!
My son specifically requested this game and loves it. He goes through spurts of playing and not playing it, but when he does, he enjoys it.
I thought it woul dbe boring… Great game for any age.
