Beautiful graphics. Great audio. Game play is interesting. Difficulty level is about right for both adults and kids. Co-op mode is great so your kids can play together as a team. I sometimes team up with my 5-year-old son to play through some levels with him. I enjoy the game because it’s not too challenging (or my kids will get frustrated and stop playing if they can’t get past a level). I hate it when my kids cannot get past a certain level and I’m not able to help them because the game is too difficult, even an adult can’t figure it out (without going to YouTube for a walkthrough). Lego should keep that in mind and focus on their target audience, kids. They did that for this game. So 5 stars from me.
If this is your first ever LEGO installment, it’s great! If this is one of your latest, it’s not as rich with content and characters as in previous titles. I earned everything in it in about a week. Great for younger players.
My wife had been wanting to play games with me and being a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan she jumped when she saw this game. It provided several hours of entertainment and has a decent replay value as well.
Loved it
We enjoyed playing this game, but it was definitely not as good as either of the Lego Harry Potter games or Lord of the Rings.
This is a great product, exactly what the description states. I am satisfied with my purchase. I would highly recommend it.
As an avid gamer, I guess my daughter takes after me. We’ve been playing the lego based games for quite some time now with having beaten multiple rounds of Indiana Jones, Batman, and Star Wars 2 the original trilogy. We worked on Harry Potter Years 1-4, but she didn’t take to that much, I think she found it too scary. And we got some life out of Star Wars 3 Clone Wars, but that game seemed more shoot ’em up vs. the lego/puzzle experience that some of the other games had.But Pirates has been an instant hit as she loves the movies, and the game employs a lot of the lego building / mystery / puzzle component.I rate this game so high because:- Very inexpensive- Longevity. My daughter enjoys replaying levels and gets a lot of fun factor out of it.- Hard to find multi-player games that are fun for both adults and kids.
My grandson Loved this and Plays it all the time. I was glad I could get him something he enjoys because he is Autistic. Thank you.
I love this world and the characters. The only thing I don’t like is not being able to skip through some of the cut scenes which can be long. Otherwise, it is a real fun game.
My grand kids love this game. They play it all the time. The older one is about 9 or 10 and he has started to move on to other games now. Hope this helps.
