We searched and searched for Wii games our 5-year-olds could play and this was one that many people recommended for younger kids. The game itself is very fun for our girls (collecting jewels, completing taks the Princesses give to them, fighting off the little “trolls” with their magic wands, etc.) and they ask us to play it often but the problem is that they need our help to play. The regular Wii remote serves as a magic wand while the nunchuck has to be used to walk around. My 5-year-olds can’t really figure out the walking part – especially if they are trying to do their magic wand in the other hand at the same time so we have to sit with them and run the nunchuck while they do the magic wand.

My 5 year old girl picked up this game pretty fast with a little help from Dad. Some of the thought processes to the game play were new to her as this was her first WII game to play, bust she got the hang of it after the first couple of story line. The game takes you thgouh each Princess’es world where you save the Kingdom from these little troll looking dudes. You defeat them with the conroller used as a magic wand. the graphics are very good. No time limit or pressure to complete. I would reconmend..
This was a birthday present for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it and It is easy for her to play on her own! She needs help every now and then trying to figure out what she is supposed to do, but once I explain or show her she is back to playing by herself. She loves her Disney princesses!
We bought this hoping that our 3 and a half year old would be able to play it. She has done pretty well and can play as long as one of us is with her. The remote aspect is easy for all the need to do is wave the wand around the numchuck sometimes gets her stuck. It is not a long or that challenging of a game, but perfect for children who don’t have a lot of experience with the wii. She asks to play the game and we usually play in half hour segments. She loves all the disney characters and really enjoys the game. I figure for […], it wasn’t that bad of a cost, the graphics were decent. One aspect I liked about the game was that each section (other than Belle’s) game with three chapters each, so she could complete a chapter and then go back later to finish each section.
Bought this as a gift for my daughter and she has played it everyday
First I thought this will be hard for my four years old girl. But at once she figure out even without an adult assistence. And she finished all the chapters within couple of days (except snow white chapter). Then I thought she is done with that. But I am wrong still she loves to play it. Her favourite chapter is Jasmine’s chapter.Bad of this game is some times it take time to figure out what to do since there is no assistence where to go or what to do next. Some chapters doesn’t work properly. My girl couldn’t complete the snow white chapter since it stucked in the middle. There is a gate to go inside but still she couldn’t go inside what ever she tried.
I bought this for my grandchildren for Christmas. We didn’t know we needed numchucks to play the game, so we haven’t played the game yet. However, since it is a Disney game, I am sure we will be very pleased with it. Everything I have ordered from Disney is of the highest quality.
My daughter just turned 4 and this game is so appropriate for her age. She can finally play by herself but I like to play it too. It’s very fun for my husband and I to play.
I gave this game to my daughter when she was almost 3 years old. The game is very simple, and she enjoys watching the stories every time a princess is found. Most of the movement in the game is done through the nunchuck, and the spells are done with the wii control. Both are easy to perform by a toddler. There are no super computer graphics or great plot behind this game, but for small children is good enough. If your daughter is starting to recognized Disney characters and loves Disney princesses, then you can’t go wrong with this game, and it will keep your child entertain for a while.

My daughter just turned 4 and this game is super fun and feeds her princess obsession. The only thing I would say is she still has a bit of a hard time playing it on her own but when I added the two player and could help her around the various worlds it was a much better time.
