I liked the characters for the most part, although Ken kind of turned out to be a little bit scary in the bedroom. Still haven’t decided if I liked that turn of events. But, the plot was great and I love it when previous characters pop up because I’m still invested mentally in all of them as a family type group. The battle they’re in requires them to stick together. The storyline of Ken and Mari was interesting, exciting, very intense, and heartbreaking. I have a complaint though. Am I the only one confused by the lack of concern in the story and characters about who the traitor in their midst is? It just seems strange that it’s mentioned when there’s an attack, yet the story never even tries to ponder who it might be. I love how Whitney just gets crazier to the point where the reader wonders why he hasn’t imploded. Lots of action and drama. I hope some answers to important parts of the plot get answered at some point. They seem kind if important to me.
Another great addition in this series. Jacks story is still my favorite but this one was pretty good too. Can’t wait for the next.
This is the fifth book in the GhostWalkers series. I really liked that Mari was such a strong, independent character. Normally, the female characters in this series are more vulnerable than she was in this book. This book had all of the elements I was looking for — lots of steaminess between Ken and Mari, lots of action, and more development of the ongoing GhostWalkers plot and the Dr. Whitney character. If you liked the other GhostWalker books, particularly #4 (Conspiracy Game, which centers on Ken’s brother Jack), you will love this one.
This is the second Book of a two parter by Christine Feehan. The Norton Twins, Jack and Ken are both Ghostwalkers psychically enhances men. Ken a once very handsome man was tourchered by a sadistic man who also torchered his brother Jack but Jack escaped before he was as badly torchered as his brother and after much adventure found his true love. Now Ken who has many hang-ups mostly psycholological is going to find his true love but has to go through many trials to get there. I love this series of men who are enhanced with many, many different gifts, and I hope that Ms. Feehan will continue to write about these brave men and their equally brave women. The Ghostwalker series is a keeper….
I enjoyed the way the book flowed and the action. Sexual chemistry was off the chart. A fulfilling storyline. This book majes you think hownit is on the oppoaite side and you begin ti shift your emotions. It is not a typical love story and that in itself is wonderful.
Awesome
beautiful book about 2 sisters who don’t know each other and 2 brothers who try to rescue one sister being held captive and how one sister and one brother fall in love
The story between Ken and Marigold is heartbreaking. They both have such terrible pasts, so many demons riding them. But somehow they have common ground. This story is full of action and passion. We get to see more of the villain and how truely evil he is. A great addition to the series, a must read!
Great book
I’ve been pleasantly surprised with this series. I really did not think I would be interested in a book where the main characters are genetically altered military, but the characters were likable.
