This game blows even the Arkham City out of the water, there is nothing like enjoying the amazing soundtrack and well-designed levels. Sunsoft really outdid themselves in making this game, and the soundtrack to stage one really drew in the excitement and nostalgia for me, and the detail in the backgrounds of the levels are intense and it is one of those games that one would keep coming back to over and over again, as it has that charmunmatched by today’s games; most of today’s games have nothing but ambience, instead of lively melodic soundtracks like this. It is possible tocreate games with an exciting soundtrack, especially with today’s technology, but that is being wasted on trying to be “realistic” and that iswhat pretty much kills it for me. I would go as far as to say that this is my favorite Sega Genesis game, mainly because of the amazingly donecombination of a lively soundtrack, well-designed levels and backgrounds, easy controls and overall extremely entertaining gameplay. I highly recommend this for any gamer, casual or hardcore as the experience is enjoyable with simple, but satisfying controls, and overall well-balanced gameplay.
I played this game for years And I never thought i would sell my copy to this site. Get this game if you liked the movie. Challening. But fun.
the summer of 1989 is one ill never forget..it had lots of memories for me..one of them was seeing batman in the theater with my friends. i remember how it was standing room only amazing film ..then the nes batman game came out..which was good but to me,it really didnt feel like the movie ..then i saw pics for the sega genesis version..it looked amazing…i pre ordered it right away.. this was back in the day when you had babbages and the like..the classics NEVER get old..and Batman for the sega genesis proves it..this game is still one of my all time favorites.. this game pretty much plays out the film..where you start out in the rain with errie music having to fight carl grissom’s goons then fight jack napier at the axis plant he then falls into the acid…the birth of the joker..there are standard platforming levels where you have your gauntlet(grappling hook) your batarangs..to take down thugs.. the coolest was the shooter levels where you can drive the batmobile and the excellent batwing…then theres the final fight with the joker…all said sunfoft had created a classic for the genesis..the graphics shine, the music is somber and fits the mood ,the beginning of the game tells the story with beautiful ditigized images of the characters.. this is one of those game thats a no brainer if your a batman fan.the best batman games in my opinion are the following: Batman-sega genesis Batman returns-super nintendo Batman forever the arcade game-sega saturn Batman.
A good game for the Sega genesis. Music is good, but I still like the music from the Nes game more.Buy this game if you enjoy the 1989 Tim Burton Batman movie
Batman the video game had the the best graphics anyone could dream of on the sega genesis and they are still good today yet it’s better then the NES one well what do you expect it was only 8 bitd but buy it if you have a sega genesis youll be happy with you’re purchase.
I simply love this game
This game is a lot better than it’s Nintendo counterpart, due to better graphics and sound. The controls are good too. However there is some frustrating parts, so you’ll most likely need a game genie for this. This Batman game surpasses Batman Forever and Batman Returns on the Sega Genesis, but it does not surpass Batman Returns for the SNES or Batman Forever for the Sega Saturn. It’s still fun nonetheless, which is why it earns a 5 star from me. I mainly bought this game to go with my Batman movies.

I love this game.It’s amazing.Everything about this,is based off of the original Nicholson/Keaton Batman film.The music is fantastic,the graphics are almost flawless(for a Genesis game) and the gameplay is very good and it’s so fun.Flying around in the Batwing and speeding down the road,in the Batmobile is just great.If you own a Sega Genesis and you are a big Batman fan,buy this game.You will NOT regret it.
