Great game
Even though you can tell the makers of this game rushed to get it out on time, without checking all the bugs. I have to say that i really enjoyed this game. I have only rented it, but it was sooo fun. I love these kind of games though, the kind that make you think real fast on what you should do next. If you’ve liked the THUG series i know for a fact that you will enjoy this. I like the new NO LOADING SCREENS thing too, it’s alot more fun. THUG 2 blowed, but this game makes up for it!
Exactly what I wanted
Sweet!
I was a big fan of Tony Hawk’s Underground and although I didn’t like Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 that much, I was still willing to give this one a chance. The "open world" feature in this game, while interesting at first, feels kind of disappointing in that you have to go through these long and drawn-out hallways instead of having any load times, which takes a lot of precious time away (and I’m a very patient person, mind you). Final verdict: Not the best in the series, and if you’re a fan of the old Pro Skater games, you’re probably not going to like it so much. If you like the newer Tony Hawk games, you’ll probably really enjoy this. Then again, you should try it for yourself.
Tony Hawk and co. have delivered a new game every year for seven years straight now, and every year I get sucked into it. This year’s game is no exception, but I am beginning to wish that these guys would skip a year and spend the extra time making a better game. The big deal about this game was that the entire game is supposed to be contained in one massive level modelled after the city of Los Angeles. This is true to some extent, except you start with only a small area and then unlock other small areas. In order to get from one area to another, you have to skate across transition zones, all of which are so choppy that it doesn’t take a genius to realize that you’re basically skating through a glorified loading screen. So in the end, this one massive level really just turns out to be a bunch of small levels strung together, and some of the smallest levels in recent Tony Hawk history, I might add.For those who enjoyed classic mode, with the two minute timer and traditional challenges, it’s back. However, all but one of the levels in this mode are from previous games. Some of the levels are even making their third appearance in a Tony Hawk game. There are a few new moves in the game, but I have not found any of them to be incredibly useful. You are also able to ride a BMX bike in story mode, which is fun for a little while, but I started to lose interest fairly quickly. One of my biggest annoyances with story mode was that you are only able to perform tricks after you finish the.
The game came on time and works great.
Great game – not just skating, there are ‘missions’ and objectives, and no loading time when you go to different areas
This is one of the Tony Hawk games that any fan HAS TO PLAY! This game is like Tony Hawk’s Underground mixed with Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX. It’s no different from any Tony Hawk game other than more tricks, you can ride a BMX, more pros, and you can throw your skateboard. I’ve pretty much played and beat all this game has to offer. This game has a great story line and good graphics. Pineapple. This game is pure awesome!
Great game. Fast shipping. Works great
