Love it!! The game is amazing! And the shop who sold me the game was great! Totally worth it!!
This game is utterly auesome!!!except for when you gat to level "Tengu",for me its impossible to beat thos mystic dudes!!!And they don’t follow each episode in a row!!!! they just skip episodes!!!the eaisiest turtle to be is leonardo and the hardest is probably raphael.let me at least tell you one cheat:unlock master splinter story mode, thats right, not v.s.,story!!!!!!–password:MSRLSi really like the cel-shading too, they make it look more like a cartoon.anyway, you should watch the t.v. shows first then buy the game,i watched the first 13 or 14 episodes then i bought the game.sincerly, kenny
It was a long time ago when the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, based on the insanely awesome comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, hit the airwaves. Now the forces of retro desperation are returning the green machines to the screen as well as every single gaming platform known to man. The story of TMNT is simple: Four wee turtles came into contact with some radioactive goop and were transformed into wee ninja turtles. After years of tutelage in the sewers by a rat-man ninja master, these ninja turtles turned into teenagers. Thats about all you need to know. This game is as retro as its subject matter, and it contains all the good and bad things associated with the Jurassic go-right-beat-em-up genre that made up about 97 percent of the game libraries for the 16-bit systems in the 1990s. A limited number of continues, improbable power-ups (Ooh, someone left a floating pizza in that crate!), and armies of identical bad guys will remind you of the days in which consoles had only enough memory to handle 10 enemies and just enough processing power to grant you a whopping six moves. For all its throwback feel, Turtles has a lot of late-model shinyness and snappy presentation. The whole game (except a few cel-animated cinemas) is done in a nice cel-shaded look that, along with the pop-up visual sound effects (CRASH!, BASH!, etc.), gives the game a personality that takes it past similar beat-em-ups like Vivendis Hulk. The well-acted voice samples are way too rep.
I’d Like to say that this game kicks Major Ass!!I remember back when I was in the 6th grade I rented this game for the GameCube console and I really fell in love with this game. Especially when me and my cousin were always playing 2 players on it and we double teamed all the enemies and nothing stood in our way! 9 years have passed to this day I wanted to live the days of playing this game again only issue was that I don’t have a GameCube anymore but I have a PS2 at least and I was glad that its also available on PS2 as well. And now that I have it I can play it once more like it was 9 years ago! Only problem is that I’m playing this alone cause my cousin isn’t around and I don’t have another PS2 controller but I’ll resolve that issue later! Lol besides I seem to be doing fine on my own :) oh and I must tell you if there is someone you wanna bond with and get to know better I’d say get this game! cause you two can make an awesome teamwork! :)
I’m a big fan of console games that allow co-op play. I recently played BATMAN: RISE OF SIN-TZU and TURTLES. I can say that BATMAN is much more enjoyable co-op game. It has problems, for sure, but the potential for improvisation is much, much greater than in TURTLES.Problems with the TURTLES game (in contrast to BATMAN) is the "invisible wall" problem — you are locked into certain sections of the map without the ability to retreat, regroup or plunge ahead to get power-ups to help you deal with the numbers of bad guys. Another big problem is the lack of interesting combos — it just gets so tiring using the same strikes to beat the bad guys — BATMAN’s a much better game in that aspect — it’s almost too hard to master all of the styles (much less execute them) but TURTLES is so clunky and unimaginative — I might buy the BATMAN game to muck around with, but I’ll never go near TURTLES again (and this is coming from a fan of the old Arcade game and comic books!).Better co-ops can be found in Dynasty Warriors, Hunter: Reckoning, or even PS1’s Jedi Power Battles.
I just got this game for my sister this week as an early Christmas present. the game is fun to play and the ps2 quality graphics are decent. overall it’s a pretty good game.
When I first saw they were making a ninja turtle game I was like…woh! This is so awsome! I looked it up, saw some pictures, and it reminded me of one of the ninja turtle games on the super nintendo. Since that game was awsome, this one has to be since the systems have gotten much much better since then. I will definetly check this game out when it is released.
its okay .well you get to fight a lot of people. And it is just like the movie, like you fight kasey jones with ralf.but some times it can get boring.if you like the movie, and action youl like this game.
If you want to have fun, buy Ninja Turtles. If you want a really challenging game, buy Ninja Turtles. Level 2 Area 5 is pretty hard. Get all the cheats you can.
Just so you know I was a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles on TV. I loved it, and even have action figures of it.First off the gameplay is very fun. You It’s a beat um with the Turtles. there are tons of combos and different moves you can use to kill enemies. Each different character has thier own moves, giving replay value. Basically you kill some enemies and then move on and kill some more enimies. Very simple, yet it’s mindless fun. May get a little repetitive. If you like co-op, get this game. Playing with some one is even more fun! You can also play little versus things if you have more controllers. They are enjoyable. What realy makes it great is the bosses. They are varied and are usually huge! They are very fun to defeat and awesome! If you like the show you will like the story. Enough said. The grafics are a bit dated, but what are you going to do?Overall this is a very fun game that kids(and thier parents) and fans of the show will like. Or, if you want a fun little game to play and don’t mind if it’s a bit repetative.I would give it a 9/10, but retrolio can’t do that.
