Super Mario Party (Nintendo Switch Games)
UPC:045496594305 The Mario Party series is coming to the Nintendo Switch system with super charged fun for everyone! The original board game style has been kicked up a notch with deeper strategic elements, like specific Dice Blocks for each character. The game also introduces all new ways to play, including Joy Con controller enabled mini games, and new modes to enjoy with family and friends. Board gameplay goes back to the four player basics as you take turns and race across the board searching for Stars. You can also pair up two Nintendo Switch systems and delight in this dynamic play style, such as in the new Toad’s Rec Room mode. ...With new modes and new mini games coupled with original board game play, the party starts any where, any time, and with all kinds of players.
I bought this game with the intention of being able to play online with my nephew in another part of the state, but was disappointed to see that the game only allows you to play a very small number of select mini-games. It doesn’t make any sense that this game doesn’t have the flexibility to play online.
Okay the title says Mario party, but a few things have changed, unlike 9 & 10 you choose your own path, you don’t all travel together. The goal is still to get stars, but now they cost 10 coins instead of the usual 20.
Enjoyable, but very short. I beat the entire game in two days, there isn’t any reason to keep playing solo after you’ve unlocked everything.
This game is so much fun to play.
Best game ever so many different things you can do. Been especially great to have with having to be confined to home with all the restrictions.
We purchased this as a way to enjoy our Nintendo Switch together as a family or get friends that come over to join in on the fun.
I admit, having to play with the joycons disconnected is annoying, but it’d be real hard to play the mini games in handheld mode with the joycons attached, and chances are if you’re playing Mario party, you’re playing with others. Which makes it a great game on the switch since you will always have a player two controller with you. The games are fun and the allies and character specific dice can really change up the game. Most importantly, it’s not mario party for the wii u.
It’s great to have a new Mario party game. It’s very easy to pick up and play. Plus, the ability to get “buddies” to join you that all have different types of die is a very cool addition to the game. The randomization seems a bit lacking as well.
Graphically, the game looks beautiful especially on the giant TV in your living room. But the game creators got rid of some key features, including the handicap of giving another player more stars to start the game.
This game is so much fun for my family. My girls are young and they can still play. I love the different levels and characters. The Nintendo switch is such a fun console and this is my families favorite game to play.
