Awesome! Timeless classic, no issues or damage with the disc!
I usually don’t play games much and I usually avoid ‘hack and slash’ games, but this one is very fun! I have to say that is a pretty hard game. I have made it through on easy, normal, and hard, but I still have trouble with the palantirs of Sauron and Saruman without cheats. While it can be extremely frustrating to finish the game; the pure fun comes from re-playing all those levels with different characters and building your characters up to the highest experience level (which is 20). When you’re that high, you can just plow through anybody on any level. I very much enjoy the levels of Minas Tirith (Top of the Wall and The Courtyard) just because they are incredibly crazy with non-stop action. I never get tired of playing The Pelennor Fields and the Black Gate; they are just so much fun and intense. A very good game that keeps me coming back for more even though I finished it.
If you liked Two Towers then you will definitely like this one. This is pretty much the same short and hard but this one has awesome new features like co-op and characters like Gandalf, Sam, Frodo, Pippin, Merry and Faramir. You’ll get to fight some cool guys like Sauron Witchking and Shellob. To sum it all up this is a definite 5 star game, and I strongely suggest buying it.
This game is one of the best. It has amazing graphics and great sound. The movies flow straight from film to game. The scenes are a great addition. They provide a exciting preperation for the next mission. Overall, I think this is one of the best games.
First off, this was the one game during 2004 that was worth playing over, and over, and over again; the replay value was amazing! The only problem I had with the game was the annoying camera angle, which allowed for some enemies to get some cheap shots on you from behind. And secondly, Ea said that they would release a game covering all three movies….Where is it?!?! O yeah… This game was great btw
Great game. Can be frustrating at times yet a great game that keeps you glued and alert. I’m sure after some much needed cool down time, I will once again replay it. WHAT SAY YOU?
Here’s a quick summary:Graphics: 10/10- Couldn’t ask for better graphics. Movie to game (and vise-versa) transitions are great. You feel like you really are playing the movie.Sound/Music: 9/10- Really good. Music always fits the mood and sound effects are great. The reason I didn’t give a ten here is because it isn’t perfect and Gandalf sounds like a Hobbit when he grunts (which happens a good amount).Gameplay: 10/10- Fun as hell! Its hack-and-slash, but more complicated. Killing orcs (etc) never gets old, due to the fact that there are many sick combos to purchase with experence points and pull off. Co-op is great…this might have gotten a nine or eight if it weren’t for the co-op mode. (The levels are the same, but you progress differently). As you go you will unlock many DVD-type extras such as concept art, interviews, and sound tests. There are also three hidden characters and two secret levels. Starts off slightly slow (Helm’s Deep and The Paths of the Dead are the first two levels but also the worst…still good though)Replayability: 9/10- It hasn’t gotten old for me yet, even three months after beating every little bit of the game. The levels are unique and fun to go back to. Co-op will please you as long as you have friends and/or family to occaisonally play with. The only prblem is the long cutscenes that are amazing the first five times get old, usually you can skip them though.AND1HOMERUN’S RATING: 10/10- If you like video games and/or the movies even the slightes.
Best game ever made for any counsel the graphics are great. You can be all the people from the fellowship (except Borimir) The levels follow the movie great i think any person who has seen the movies would love this game
I thought this game was much easier than the Two Towers. I liked how you can play as nine different characters instead of just Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli. Gandalf is the best character becasue he can shoot power blast out of his staff. The levels really follow the book and the movie really well. They started the Hobbbits path with escape from Oglislith only because they wouldn’t have had many other levels with them. The Black Gate is a great level and I’m so happy none of the orcs have sheilds besides the big ones. I was really disappointed that all four hobbits are basically the same and they’re all pretty weak. I wish they had had Eomer in it because he’s so cool. I also thought it was way too easy and you should probably and if you don’t like to play games over and over well you wont like this one. The secret level stunk too. A good game but too easy.
I fell in love with this game the first time I played it. The graphics and the sounds are incredible. The gameplay if fun. It keeps you interested especially since they have three different paths to follow, as well as several different players you can do it with. I play it with my son so having it play in co-op mode is a HUGE benefit and source of enjoyment. My only gripe is that if you are playing by yourself, it is sometimes hard to build up a player. Locking the game behind you as you progress is really disappointing.Other than that, fantastic!!!! Highly recommended. A huge improvement over the Two Towers game. I love this game!!
