   I really wish Capcom would have scraped Resistance and just made RE3 longer. Because this was a GREAT game! Just makes me sad that it was so short. They got rid of so many iconic areas. Its a shame they're only promoting Resistance updates.

   I had a lot of fun trying to platinum this game so I beat this game several times doing so. Conclusion is: fun but game length is way too short compared to other RE games. If they DO remake RE4 and it's way shorter than the original RE4, I'm gonna be SUPER upset about it.

   I've always been a huge fan of the Resident Evil franchise.. didnt particularly like #6 but I'm pretty sure most people agree on that. I played the original Nemisis game on PS1 and although it's not the same this is still an awesome game. Has some decent length to it but like all Resident Evil games I wish it were longer.

   As someone who was never the biggest fan of the original Resident Evil 3, my expectations were tempered. I knew that this game would not live up to the great Resident Evil 2 remake just like the original version of both games. So I got a solid six plus hours out of the game. I'm not someone who rushes to the finish line with the game so I got at least a week's worth of gameplay out of it and I was not disappointed. It was a solid purchase.

   Very good game, great graphics and game replayability is high. Must have for any Resi fan. My only complaint is how short the game is. My first run taking my time, i beat it just shy of 6 hours. My quickest speedrun was just shy of an hour and a half. Again the game plays and looks great, just wish it wasn't so short.

    So ive been hearing a lot of bad reviews about Re3, and I dont even understand whats wrong with ppl nowadays! The game is fantastic and it truly stands up for its predecessor by all manners! The graphics are amazing just like they are in Re2, and u get to experience the chaos thats been happening on Raccoon city during the outbreak in very realistic manner. The details of the environments are extremely numerous and the game produces multiple “stress factor” elements, while having nemesis hunting u down the streets. Its very polished and it greatly represents the tension and obsession of nemesis hunting down Jill Valentine, while screaming the classic quote “S.T.A.R.S”.Coming from the 90’s and having played all the Re title from the franchise, I feel its a very successful remake that efficiently connects with the events of Re2, while also transferring the nostalgic feelings of the original Re3! The music consists of the original Re3 tunes remixed/remade and it gives u all those feelings of “desperation,isolation and anxiety”! Once again Re2 was a phenomenal start to the remake of Re games, and Re3 successfully fulfills that circle. (For those who complain and dont really get it, Re3 was always more action based than 2. Re3 revolved around the high stress factor of nemesis and escaping as much as possible, and Re2 was more of puzzle solving, investigating the means of the virus) the only negatives are some elements from parts of the original Re3, that are not included in the re.

    this is coming from someone who likes the world of resident evil but hasn't played most of the older games.pros-visually beautiful. graphics look fantasticstory is good, Jill is a solid character, Carlos is like a discount keanugeneral game play is as good as RE2cons-very short, like if you are a competent gamer you will beat this game in under 5 hours.doesn't have the replay value of RE2 (there is only one campaign, no 2nd runs or extra stories)I didn't play the included multiplayer but I don't hear a lot of people talk about it, so its probably OK or not worth it.I enjoyed my time with RE3 Remake, but I don't think its worth full retail price.

    Besides the length of the game. It's pretty damn fun and good. Carlos is hands down one of the best things about this game so far. Jill is great, but Carlos steals the show. The gameplay is what you'd expect if you played the RE2 Remake, but with the addition of a dodge. I haven't been using the dodge much, as I'm horrible with the timing. It holds fairly true to the original, adds more things about certain characters and stories, but also deviates greatly at times

    For some reason I just never played Resident Evil as a kid, and I was a fan of horror video games. With this remake I decided to finally check out what I’ve been missing. Because I like to torture myself I started the game on hardcore & overall I did okay against the normal enemies but boss fights with Nemesis I died ALOT. The game itself looks great, the gameplay is classic horror survival with very little ammo & a whole lot of zombies. Jill Valentine is a badass who has some awesome lines. My biggest complaint is the game being so short, it took me about 7 hours to complete and that was me taking my time. But that’s how the original was so not much can be done there

    So many people are writing reviews, downing and criticizing this game for all its worth simply because they are judging it by RE2 Remakes standards. And that is their mistake right there, see cuz RE3 Remake was NEVER supposed to be as lengthy, scary or great as RE2 Remake was. Capcom obviously did not even attempt at this. They REMADE the PS1 version of RE3 to todays standards. And for that task alone, I will honestly say that they did a helluva job. I mean, same ace gameplay and inventory, camera view that blew us away from RE2, wonderful and gory details in the graphics, and eerie atmospheric tension around every corner. Honestly, I wish Capcom would continue this trend of making this style of RE adventures instead of the first person bullcrap we got in RE7! But for what its worth, RE3 Remake is DEFINITELY worth the money and time, albeit a tad bit short-lived, but one that is worth the price of admission!!

    I've seen a lot of reviews Criticizing this game due to its perceived brevity. I didn't really have that problem. To me, this seemed every bit a full fledged entry into the series as any other of the releases. Besides, I'd rather have an outstanding 6-8 hour game than a mediocre one that lasts forever (looking at you, Days Gone). Plus-as with almost all Resident Evil games (Except for 6 maybe) there is a lot of replayability here. Resident Evil 3 continues the high bar set by the Remake of #2 last year. In fact, given there's really just a year separating them I was worried Resident Evil 3 may be an inferior product. That couldn't be farther from the case. RE3 continues the same high polish, gorgeous graphics and fun game play from the previous entry and I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result. I do however have some minor gripes though which come next. Now for the bad, or in this case-the annoying. I love this game, and I think for the most part it's an absolute knock out of the park, but there are a few things that annoyed me about the game. First, this game is soooooooooo dark. So many times I could barely see where I was going...and of course that meant that a zombie I didn't see totally chomped my neck despite how meticulous and careful I was being. Second, the zombies themselves. Continuing the "tradition" set in #2, they are absolute bullet/knife sponges. It wasn't uncommon to shoot a zombie 4 times directly in the head, watch it go down, knife.

    A lot is said about the length of the game but it’s an awesome experience. The replayability of the game is fun in unlocking the infinite rocket launcher (and Jill’s RE1 outfit!) and getting that S-Rank is true to the series roots.

    I would consider myself a hardcore Resident Evil fan. I’m not on the level where I go back and repeatedly replay Resident Evil 1-5 (nobody’s replaying Resident Evil 6 unless it’s for comedic effect), but I’ll at least consider buying any Resident Evil game on release.With Resident Evil 3 Remake, I’m not disappointed, but I totally understand where the disappointment is coming from, so I’ll quickly explain the controversy. First off, there’s cut content; there’s no way to get around that fact. The original game has more areas, more extensive areas than what’s already here, more puzzles that are more difficult and more boss fights. I don’t know why Capcom did this; it’s like if you re-released a famous book or comic book and ripped out chapters and frames and hoped nobody notices upon re-release. Yeah… embarrassing for those game developers. This game can be beaten in about 5-7 hours and many believe that doesn’t justify the $60 price tag.The second reason is that Nemesis is weakened in this remake. People are saying that Mr. X from THE PREVIOUS GAME, was more of an imposing figure than Nemesis here. Nemesis only shows up for scripted boss fights, cut scenes and…maybe three times he’ll legitimately chase you into the next cut scene. I’m conflicted about this because the original Resident Evil 3 had two difficulties at the start: easy and hard mode. I’m assuming the “hardcore mode” of this game is the real “standard difficulty” so “standard difficulty” is easy difficulty and the.

    I guess people forgot all of the Resident Evil games are short. Anyway this game is action packed from start to finish. There are zombies and monsters everywhere. Graphics and music are awesome. It also comes with a separate multiplayer online game. A great game and very fun to play.

    Great game as was Resident Evil 2 Remake, this one was very short. I beat the game in a little over 5 hours; maybe less. No real replay value as the online game is not really my thing. The remake of part 2 at least had two scenarios that made you play through twice. After beating this game all you have is playing in hardcore mode and unlocking some of the items in the store.I Would definitely have waited until it was cheaper to buy it. Not worth it for $59.99 more like $29.99 or a cheaper sale.

    Beautiful game, and a lot of fun. Not as phenomenal as RE2 but that game has a special place in my heart and would be hard to top no matter what (middle school yak had a huge crush on Claire Redfield and new Claire definitely did her justice!). The story feels a bit short, but hey, so was the original. I preordered the first day I could, and was delighted with it! Gave me a fun couple days at a time where fun and novelty is crucial to all our mental health. I really really wish I had got my preorder costume pack... loses a star for that. I wanted my original Jill and Carlos costumes!

    Why the lowercase "e" in the word FINGeR? You won't find out unless you play Resident Evil 3 Remake. Trust me, you will not regret it. I can't stress enough how I implore all prospective buyers to ignore the complainers and decide for yourself on the merits of this game. Those 4 stars are no lie, Resident Evil 3 Remake is a blast!RE3 2020 is a remake of the classic 1999 PS1 era Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. This game sees the return of fan-favorite, Jill "Jill Sandwich" Valentine who was least seen in 2012's Resident Evil Revelations for the Nintendo 3DS. This game, you play as Jill as you finally get to explore Raccoon City in the glorious RE engine. You will also play as UBCS soldier, Carlos Olivera for two segments in the adventure.Capcom addressed several complains that were present in 2019's Resident Evil 2 Remake. As good as that game was, it was rightfully criticized by fans who weren't blinded by fogged up nostalgia-lenses like RE2's rabid fanbase. RE2 lacked a good soundtrack, enemy variety, story related issues, and criticized for protagonists Claire Redfield and Leon S Kennedy not keeping in touch with each other like they did in the 1998 original game which, while did help create a sense of isolation, sacrificed multiple scenes in which the two grow to form a bond and also gave you a sense like one character had their own story going on while you were on yours.     Short but really fun. It doesn’t capture all of of the original RE:3 Nemesis but it is a remake after all. I wish capcom would release DLC to compensate for the shortness of the game. They release resistance, the multiplayer aspect (which is good) but I think most of us were expecting a full length campaign. I’m glad retrolio is selling this $10 below original price ($49). I’d say get this game on sale if you can!

    I have played the Resident Evil 2 remake, which I definitely loved. This game is just as graphically impressive, with detailed models, lighting, and environments that can easily take your breath away. Gameplay is slick and easy to get the hang of, and the voice actors did a great job with their roles. The biggest drawback would have to be the length. I finished it in about 6.5 hours. I felt like there was less content than the previous game; or at least I felt it took longer to beat the previous game.

It’s disappointing to not see some content that was cut from the original, and it really does feel like more of the same without any improvements, which ordinarily would be fine, but for a full release, I don’t see why this game merits a $60 price tag.     This is a well crafted game, but for the price point I expected more. The game is very short, and if we follow the history of the game and what it was intended to be on the PS1 I can see why. RE: Nemisis (PS1) was supposed to be a side game. If you re-make something that was supposed to be a side game you get a side game. The 'lean' elements that help to make this a well made product work to the games discredit when you realize just how little there is, granted what is there is good to great (graphics, voice acting, user experience). There is generally a on rails path that only gets more constrictive as the game goes on, the linking sets between major areas are very short (helpful in speed runs but you have to want to go back). On the note of re-play, there isn't much there. I would have loved to have had the shop items in RE2 remake, plus all the bonus weapons in RE2 remake. The extras on offer for this release version are good for one maybe two more runs, given that one play through can last 4-6 (mine was 4:30) and others are at 1:45 - 2 you are getting about 10 hours of content for the full price. Wait for the price to come down and then enjoy an afternoon of RE3.

    Resident Evil 3 (2020) shares the same formula as 2019's remake, yet differs in tone and narrative fluidity. The best defining qualities of this game, are simultaneously its weakest--truly a double-edged sword.----------------------------------------------------------[ Pros ]StoryUnlockablesIncludes multiplayer game: RE:Resistance[ Cons ]Game durationLinearity----------------------------------------------------------[Resident Evil 3]The narrative flow in Resident Evil 3 keeps things going. No particular area or scene drags out too long and gives just enough before it gets stale. Although there are areas I appreciate such brevity, there are others I wished were expanded upon.But that's what this game essentially is, "safe". It doesn't risk being too much of anything, making it a bit lackluster in certain aspects.The game duration and linearity are by far the weakest points of the game; however, appropriate to the narrative's pace and direction.     RE3 is an excellent campaign that gives you more of that refined RE2 remake gameplay. It looks great, plays great, and brings nemesis to life in all his nemisissy glory. I enjoyed every minute I spent with this game, which is a shame considering you can almost count those minutes on one hand.As a huge RE fan I took my time with my first playthrough. I rarely ran, paused to look at every tiny detail, hunted for easter eggs, etc. I probably couldnt have gone through the game slower if I tried. When my first playthrough ended my time was 6 hours and 6 seconds. My second playthrough where I just ran from objective to objective took less than 2 (1:46:14 to be precise) . 2 hours to beat a 60 dollar game...Campaigns of this length made sense in RE2 where you had to play two separate campaigns to see the full story (4 campaigns if you count the remixed scenarios) but not here; you get the full experience in just a few hours.Those hours are fantastic and RE resistence may give you a couple more hours of fun to stretch for that full price tag but make no mistake, this feels a lot more like an excellent, fleshed out DLC campaign for the RE2 remake as opposed to a full new release.UPDATE: changed from 3 to 4 stars.After playing through the game over half a dozen times I can confidently say I got my moneys worth out of it for a few reasons.1. the shop. When you complete the game you unlock a shop which allows you to buy several different weapons and game altering items for subsequent play.

    So I LOVED playing the original version when it was on playstation 1. I preordered it, and was delivered the same day as it was released and got the original costume pack! I really feel like fans need to cut CAPCOM some slack. The resident evil 2 remake was a masterpiece, and we as fans are very fortunate to even get a remake for this long deserved classic title. On top of that a resident evil 8 game should be coming out soon too. Capcom your doing great and I am grateful for your hard work!Now since I was defending CAPCOM for this remake, I will point the pros and cons from this new released game. starting with the pros. PROS-amazing graphics and scenery, scary enemy designs, pop up scares, Carlos gets more character development then the original, NEST 2, boss fights, weapons, music score (made it feel like the old one), no cheesy dialogue like the original had (although I find it hilarious), trophies and challenges, toy uncle, jill's apartment. Now ill give you a few details of what I really enjoyed that they changed from the old one. I loved how they put a spin on raccoon city police department by playing Carlos instead of Jill. It was a good surprise and it was nice playing it through a different perspective from a soldier from the U.B.C.S., then Jill going on a field trip to her everyday workplace. I also loved that it played like a prequel to resident evil 2 on certain days in the game. It really gave the story more depth. Some of the locations were really cool to play.

    I assume by reading this you haven't played this yet. With games this big and this good does it even need another voice in the crowd that says if you like Cinematic Horror Action games then get this because it kicks ass. I regret getting it at 60$ and should've waited, it's fantastic, a truly fun game. It's just really short, I took my time and crushed it in 6 hours gameplay time (not cutscenes).

    I had alot of fun playing this and I like it more then the original even though they took some areas out and changed it. I dont mind that nemesis isnt around as much or as random as in the original. That gave me constant anxiety so the game is much more fun having him be more cinematic imo. Hopefully they add mercenaries mode in a later update though. Overall great game though it looks and plays amazing and the story is good but short. Jill is awesome

    Enjoyed the game but like another reviewer mentions it's a quick play through and even if you take your time you'll be done in 6-8 hours. I felt RE2 had a much longer play through as well as more replay value for the same price. This game should've had a starting price of $40 or $30.

    This is the best game I have played of 2020 so far. The game is catching a lot of flack for being "too short" and yes, it is maybe 5 hours for the first playthrough, but the game has no excess filler. It's blistering action from beginning to end with cutscenes that seemlessly integrate into gameplay throughout the game. Resident Evil 3 is probably the most well directed cinematic game I have ever played in 38 years of playing video games. Uncharted gets a ton of praise for the way it integrates action setpieces and cutscenes into gameplay, but this game does it better, and without the hours upon hours of filler. Don't get me wrong, I love Uncharted, but it undeniably has many hours of roaming around with repetitive enemy encounters. This game cuts all of that out for a tight, streamlined, experience that cinematically rivals the best of action movies. Do not pass this game up!

    Resident Evil 3 is an interesting beast to me. I had a familiarity with the 1999 original by being a couch bound observer watching my brother play it when we were teenagers. Never played through it myself out of protest as I was a stubborn fan of Resident Evil Code Veronica and felt RE3 was taking the wind out of the sails of the real RE3 and, by extension, my beloved Dreamcast.Twenty one years later and, in the midst of a real-life viral pandemic, I'm running through the decimated population of Raccoon City in a desperate attempt to escape. Six hours later, I'm done with the game. And...I loved it!Lots of fun, lots of action, some scares here and there, and I enjoyed my moody romp through Raccoon City. Capcom wisely reused assets from the RE2 remake from last year and cobbled this title together relatively quickly. Lots of people are complaining about the length, emphasis on action and cut content (no clocktower, folks), but it frankly doesn't bother me one bit.I think a major factor in my enjoyment of the RE3 remake is the lack of reverence I have toward the original. The original was also a snappy, short, action packed experience compared to its PSX peers at the time. This is exactly the same - snappy, short, and action packed. Exactly what I expected. I do lament some cut levels from the original, that is unfortunate, but overall this was a great way to spend the weekend even at full-price of admission. Definitely recommended, though clean off your rose-tinted.

    Good game. Great graphics and I always wanted to replay this resident evil with current gen consoles. It's a short game though. Less than 7 hours to complete if you really wanted to complete it.

    This couldn’t have came out at a better time! I’m home sick and have been on quarantine from being diagnosed with everything under the ☀️ besides COVID-19 (Yes I was tested). I have been to sick to play this when my retrolio 📦 arrived but now that I’m starting to feel a little better so I loaded it up on my PS4 and all I can say is WOW! The graphics, gameplay, in game sounds are on point & the controls are perfect! I’m playing this on a Samsung 4K Q Series TV and with Capcom’s developers putting there heart and soul into this remake + Playstation’s & Samsung’s HDR & frame rate refresh this game is mind boggling! I have to give this game a 9.9 out 10! Thank you retrolio for delivery 🚚 📦 to me while being on quarantine! Highly, highly recommended 💯

    It’s resident evil remade, yes remade not remastered. The nemesis is going to keep you on your toes! Gives homage to the PlayStation 1 version but with way better gameplay. Don’t pass it up. Grab it today! Received it on time as well. I’ve been a RE fan since 96 so I could be bias lol.

    I thought it was a very decent game. I thought they under used the Nemesis character throughout the game and it would have been nice to see the remake of classic scenes in the original Resident Evil 3 such as the Clock Tower, the park, and the cemetery. My expectation was that you would run into Nemesis as he roams the city much like Mr. X in Resident Evil 2 remake or Jack Baker in Resident Evil 7 that way each encounter would be random and scarier rather then something that can be predicted. The game was relative brief but it was every good while it lasted.

    Im a huge resident evil fan. The graphics and game play is really fun, but the replay value is not much. The game is short and there really is a lack of bonus content. A lot of content was removed from the original game. Realistic the first time you play the game you will probably get a solid 3hrs worth. After one or two replays you will be done with the game. A game that worth purchasing at $30 or less. For sure not worth $60 or more.

    I absolutley loved this game. It's an excellent retelling of the original, while also giving it a modern RE feel. This game took me about 8 and 1/2 hours to complete. Alot of people say its too short, but its about the same as the original so no complaint from me. The character's are all fleshed out and the story is extremely engaging. I really couldn't be happier with this one. I give it an 95/100

    Is this game great while it last? Yes. Is this game short? Yes. If you know anything about this entry in the series you'll know that it was never meant to be a mainline entry and was spat out reusing many assets from RE2. This remake follows that pattern as well, albeit to a lesser extent. Is it worth $60? it depends on how much you plan on replaying it. Should it have been a $20 DLC to RE2? absolutely not. Pick this up for $40-50 and you'll be glad you did.

    As stated by other reviews, this newest entry into the Resident Evil series is rather short but the ride is pretty intense. I feel like I got my money's worth through the multiple replays and this is a worthy sequel to the Resident Evil 2 remake.My opinion, Resident Evil 2 remake was better and has far more replay value however if you liked that title, you will no doubt like this one as well. The dodge mechanic is great & I hope this makes it into further installments in the Resident Evil future.

     First off, the game's locations, narration, and completely re imagining compared to the original RE3, was excellent. The characters are more fleshed out this time around with an added sub plot. So it's not just a flimsy escape from Raccoon City without an added details or sub plots. The story was great; people have complained about the cuts, including myself initially, but after finishing the game, I noticed two things, CAPCOM definitely made up for it with the increased difficulty compared to its predecessor, yes it is harder than RE2 remake, and also expanding different locations and adding an underground warehouse. The campaign was brief, but it is a single campaign as opposed to RE2 which was two campaigns; the background of Nemesis himself is stronger and he looks more formidable than the stature they gave him in 1999. Yes, this remake knocked it out of the park and was successful. Unfortunately, you cannot please everyone. Nonetheless, I would give it a 8.5/10 I loved it and the soundtrack is amazing as well. This was a far better product than the initially planned side story they released in 1999 which had no backbone of a story. Is it on par with RE2 remake? Definitely not, but it's worth your money if you are an avid RE fan.

     I played and beat this game in one day, less than a day, realistically speaking. I feel like I should be shouting from the heavens that no one should be buying this and this was such a rip-off, but I can’t and I won’t. When you get right to it, I cannot disregard the fact that I had a ton of fun. I knocked a star off for the length of the game, which is, admittedly, extremely ridiculous. We live in an era where 10 hours seems to be the going rate, and to miss that mark with this price-point is such a “Capcom” thing to do. I never played the original RE3, and I probably never will, so for me, this iteration IS RE3, and I’m quite content with it.

     I remember playing this game as a young man. I barely remember the game beyond that. So when it came time to play this remake, I was about as lost as one can be. The characters are the same as I do remember. Good ol' Jill and Carlos come rambling in like a couple of zombie cowboys thirsting for justice. There's a challenge within the game that stipulates you must beat the game in less than 2 hours. How? How on Earth can someone do that? I know it can be done, it has to be if they have a challenge like that but wow.I like games that you can play over and over again and it never gets boring. I've already played this game like 3 times in a row and I'm still not bored with it. I am also the type of gamer that likes to hit 100% of all goals before I can truly say I beat a game. Sure, it will take a long, LONG time before I truly beat this game but so far so good.

     The game is phenomenal. Disc wasn't in place but no damage thankfully. But my real issue is the pre-order bonus. Playstation took the redemption code and it never downloaded the costumes as promised. retrolio did their part, but the code Capcom gave them for my purchase was redeemed for nothing.      Contrary to all the reviews (which are mostly positive actually) out there, RE3 has a lot to offer if you only stop to look. It does depend on how you play, and I have already spent more hours in RE3 during my first playthrough on hardcore mode than I did in RE2. In many ways, RE3 is a much superior entry to RE2, which jumped up to number one last year in my list of favorite RE titles that I’ve played for almost twenty years. RE3 is gonna be my favorite now with RE4 and RE2remake following it.Jill’s is one of the most gorgeous character designs I’ve ever seen in a video game. Her attire is realistic and attractive, and so is her sassy attitude. And I’m just gonna say it—Carlos’s redesign and personality are just too damn sexy. Moreover, their relationship feels so true. The dialogs and character qualities, from when she smirks at Carlos, “I know how to use a radio”, when she reconciles with him, “I know we didn’t get off to a good start” and when they briefly part ways and share a longing stare, are very well done. There is so much depth to Jill’s character and others’ as well.The reimagined Racoon city is spectacular. The stunning posters and the subtle hint of the still extant life is remarkable, all the while offering a sense of foreboding, which is truly enjoyable. The world is highly enriched compared to RE2. Makes me stop and look each time. Moreover, RE3 has some of the best music I’ve ever heard in video games, especially in an RE title. It’s truly amazing. The attent.

     After reading the other reviews on the game I was questioning whether I wanted to purchase this for $60. I did play the pc demo and loved that. So I decided to go ahead and buy it. It doesn't disappoint. I like so many others do feel like it could have been longer. I also like so many others wish they had included the missing portions of the original game such as the clock tower etc. I also agree with many reviewers about nemesis being to scripted and wish I could have explored more of racoon city. I gave this a 4 star rating only because of those things. I do wish also that they would have kept or at least included as an option the original Jill Valentine model (Julia Voth). Not that the new model isn't nice. Because she is. But Jill is jill. I was also a bit disappointed that the extra game requires a pay service per month to play it. But the game clearly isn't that based on the tutorial mode.The short version is that its a great game but leaves you wanting more. Much like the RE2 remake did.

     Been a RE fan since I got my hands on RE4 when I was 15. Played all the sequels, and played the original RE2, as well as the remake. Never played the original RE3, so my experience with this remaster didn't have that to compare it too. Personally, I thought the game was really good. NOT as good as RE2:Remake, but I feel like the two games fall under two different genres anyways. RE2 was pure survival horror, whereas this game, while still survival horror, leans harder towards action. I found myself often loaded with ammo, though I usually needed all of it (played in Standard mode). I did absolutely love the game. I just wish it was longer.The only biggest downside of the game is how short it is. My play through was 5.5 hours, which feels criminally short. I really wish it could have been longer. Still, a great game, and a must have for anyone a fan of the series.

     So I just want to say this is (still) a good game, your going to see a lot of reviews saying its missing parts such as the (clock tower) this is true.. not every aspect of the original game made the cut to this game.. and yes its short if you speed run, about 2 hours to complete.. if you collect everything and I mean everything maybe 6 hours but that is the same for Resident Evil 2 .. I finished in 1 hour and 48 mins to be exact. Visuals are great.. I haven't had any problems with frame rate I am getting a steady 57.5 fps on my PS4 Pro. The 2nd game it comes with is Resident Evil Resistance.. honestly at 1st I though I was not going to like it.. You will need Playstation Online to play it, the game reminds me of the movie SAW. It puts 4 survivors with their own skill set that can be upgraded against a mastermind which add traps and changes the layout of items. Its actually pretty good once you get into it. 4 Star Rating because of cut content but it still a good game. Give it a try.. or at least rent it from Gamefly if your still not convinced.

     The original RE3 may well be my favorite game of all time. So I was absolutely stoked for the remake and was not at all disappointed. I was worried this game would be too similar to the RE2 remake but while that was a more traditional survival horror game, this one is action forward. Which is why I liked this even better than the RE2 remake. I find it more fun running around blasting than sneaking around and worrying about conserving ammo. Plus, the simple addition of a dodge (how it took this long for something so common sensical to be added to an RE game is beyond me) adds so much to the gameplay! The Nemesis is terrifying, everything is gorgeous, I just had fun from start to finish. And I’m not a huge replay person these days but I’ve already completed it three times. And the Bonus Store makes it so easy to earn points and purchase things like infinite ammo weapons or attack coins (to increase your attack power) and go back and play more. You don’t have to do something insanely hard like beat the game in under two hours to unlock fun stuff like that.I definitely think this title is geared more towards casual gamers which I definitely am. I basically only play RE games any more and only buy a new system once it has a new RE game (only reason I got a PS4 was to play the RE2 remake). It is fast-paced, not bogged down by pointless puzzles, the secondary character of Carlos is a blast to play as (playing as Ada and Sherry in RE2 honestly brings down the caliber of that game as.
