This game is certainly fun for hardcore gamers than happen to own a Wii. It’s absolutely stylish. Yeah! Cool combos are easy to execute once you get the hang of the controls. There’s a co-op mode that you can play with a friend after you’ve beaten the story mode or co-op mode right from the get go under the Survival mode. I know I gave it a 5 star rating, but what I really wanted to give it is a 4.9. Minus 0.1 for no FMV cutscenes, however there are voices and in game cutscenes. It’s certainly worth $27.99.
Not quite as good as the one on 360 but, it’s still okay nonetheless. I do like that I can simply use a slash motion with the Wiimote. At the time of this writing, I haven’t beaten it but, it seems like it’ll be fun. If you played the one on 360, you’d probably have fun with this one.
i wasn’t expecting much, but this turned out to be a fun hack & slash with deeper combat-gameplay than i anticipated. this is my first game in the Onechanbara series, so i was utterly lost with regard to the story
The product was as the shop mencioned. Great game.
The wii motion controls really does great on this one. You can choose to sit on the couch with little effort and watch the hotties you control kick the crap out of everything or you can choose to be more active and stand up, swinging your weapons as if in virtual reality and really getting a good workout while having a blast!
very good game its a local and i love it wish wii would get more grat games like this.
The one thing that really adds to the replay value is the versatility of weaponry the player has available to them. One of the unlockable characters has two types of firearms, which I had fun toying with after chopping zombies with a sword started to get monotonous. One annoying aspect about this game is the motion controls. It would have been nice if this had classic controller support.
I bought this game because it is babes slashing zombies but this went BEYOND the expectations of both myself and a friend who has played it with me.The most frustrating parts are when the zombies grab your weapon, I mean what other game has had zombies being able to act the least bit intelligent? This game has *smart* zombies! The graphics are good and play smoothly. The radar is helpful and being able to throw daggers from a distance is fun but nothing beats that up close and personal slashing into pieces or kicking in the face treatment after a hard day in reality. lol! :)This game was so fun that my friend wants to play it just about everytime he comes over! Heh, now I know what to get him for his birthday. The survival mode is really hard but fun and once you or your partner are down, you are DOWN for the count until you A) restart or B) quit or C) the Zombies get you and the game ends anyway. All in all, the only thing that kept it from being a perfect score for me was the fact that survival mode should have a score system in co-op mode so you can know who’s kicking more butt than the other. Lol! :)
I love love love love it!
In this game, you get to select one of two main characters and play through their story, and unlock several things, as you beat the story mode and then other available modes. Onechanbara is somewhat of a “beat’em up” and hack and slash kind of game. The main difference here is that you play with provocatively dressed characters. It would seem that the Wii version is different from the Xbox360 one, (as far as the stages/levels go) and there is no “dress up” mode, here, but you still get to unlock costumes, later on, in the game. The game play is fun, there are no puzzles in this game, no mini-game(s) either, but at such an affordable price, it’s not a downside. What I DIDN’T like about the game were how late some tips/explanations were given to a player in the game. Also, when you try to accomplish “quests” in this game, you are not told what to do or how. You clear the quest only after/if you’ve succeeded at accomplishing what was expected of you. This didn’t make much sense to me, so I had to look for answers online.Overall, a great game, and I’m still playing it.
