Game is fun, a little on the boring side for my son who I bought it for but overall I enjoyed it and I think it hold up to games that are out today.

I found this game tons of fun, great graphics and features. Also I was very happy that I ordered this through retrolio, it saved me tons of money and I recieved it in time.
Well I still like 2009 a whole lot because it is faster, but……. 2011 is much more realistic. The controls are fantastic. The graphics are amazing. The online play is great. 2010 was fun but had some faults which I think have been addressed well in 2011. If you dont have a hockey game for your ps3 then I would recommend buying 2009 used here on retrolio. However, if you are thinking about upgrading this is the version to have. The EA Hockey games are by far my favorite for PS3. Nice job EA Sports!

There is very little I would change in this, its a very well designed game and I think a worthwhile improvement from 2010.The only pet peeve I have is with the stupid “ole ole” soccer style chant from the audience. Dear EA, this might come as a surpirse to you, but the majority of your customers are not as enamored with the Montreal Canadians as you are. We alreay had to stomach the unfallible “100th anniversary” Canadians team in 2010 version of this game. Enough. Why are you now trying to depict the typical hockey fan around the league as chanting “Ole” in the stands? Montreal is, thankfully, the only city where the fans insist on this childish singing while they watch hockey.Excellent suggestion below to add at least the winter classic from each year, if not also giving the user some fantasy applications to create their own winter classics.
The game is pretty decent. I like playing people online and all. The amount of fun I have with this game is awesome.
I liked that I could download the Bruins horn and goal theme song into the game. Made it feel more realistic when I played.
