Fun game to play, but takes some patience.

This was fun for my son for a day!!! Then he was bored with it but he still loves it.
Old School Fun. We had Electric Football Leagues when I was a kid. Still have my old team, and have found that there are still many leagues and organizations throughout the country and people who customize boards, players, and teams. With research you should be able to find some in your area, especially hobbyists. In any event, the football players move across the field due to vibration. The bristles on the bottom of the bases the players stand on react to the vibration from the board for movement. Some of the bases have radialknob controllers to help with that movement. Some people have complained about the movement of the players. Well, the movement can be adjusted by manipulating the bristles (just slide your fingers across them). Also, upon delivery, due to production, some/many of the bases will have flashing (excess material) on the bristles. If so, this should be removed and the bases will then operate/run more effectively. Lastly, not a big proponent of the passing component of the game. Typically, our league back in the day (vanity won’t let me say how long ago) utilized only running plays. But passing can be done, but takes practice. So responsible 6 year olds or better yet, 8 and up. I hope this helps. And by the way, ask Dad or Grandpa, you might get lucky and they may still have their old.
Many reviews claim these “dont work like they used to.” That is incorrect. The bases will need tweaking to work properly. Right out of the box, the players wont go anywhere. One youtube search will have you on your way. The new invisibases are great. Much easier to tweak than the older bases. Which are still available btw from tudor games. The video i attached is after 2 min of tweaking a strong invisibase.

Amazing! Son spent hours on this game! He loves it! However, the bottoms were hard to figure out! Over all an AMAZING game! Love it!
