I bought this game for two reasons, Ms. Pac-Man and Galaxian. Ms. Pac-Man was always a great time for me back in the day so I couldn’t resist revisiting the game. I found it to be still surprisingly hard though. I could still only get to the level where the fruit starts repeating then die. It seems no matter how much I play, that’s it for me. I had better luck with Galaxian, eventually topping 30,000. Galaxian was my game as a child. I thought killing those three ships and getting 800 points was just the coolest thing in the world.The rest of the games, eh. I play Dig Dug sometimes but never really got into it. Galaga was never my bag, not sure why. Pac-Mac is solid but why play it when you got Ms. Pac-Man. Pole Position always bored me. I never have been much for racing games. All the arrangement games are failures in my mind. I was surprised how much I liked Pac-Attack, a pretty entertaining columns puzzle game from the 90s. I beat that and had some fun.So now I’m basically stuck with just Galaxian and Ms. Pac-Man now as my quick fix, go to games. But I love those two, and the tight GameCube control stick works so well with those them. And I still mess around with some other games from time to time. As you can see from the list of games below, there’s just not a lot of games there. But overall, I felt like I got my twenty bucks worth that I originally payed. This game is simply amazing and flawless! There are some unlockables, and all the games have multi-player action! It’s seriouly like a classic arcade, rooled into a updated game system. Before I go on with the posative, I have one just one, the entire reveiw, I promis this is the only negative…In some of the pac-man games, if you play on a small TV (like me) then it’s hard to see everything in general.*gasping for air* I’m so glad that negative part is over! Back to the posative!With three totally new games: Pac-man Arrangement, Galaga Arrangement, and Dig-Dug arrangement. Blast from the past! Greta deal! Brought me back to my 80’s childhood! Great passing on these classic games to my children now.
I used to play these games when I was a kid and they’re still fun today. However, if you’ve never played these, you’ll probably find them cheesy and the graphics poor.
very good game for old school gamers that want to play classics in a new way, this disc has remixed games as well as the classics, so if you like this old Namco games this may be a game to pick up.oh and the shop sold this to me in very good shape with the case, artwork, & manual for under 10$ with shipping
Talk about nostalgia! This game has it all! The old versions of our favorites, plus new arrangements that are also fun to play! I highly recommend this game to parents who want to get in on the video game action with some old school fun! I can actually PLAY these games…they are a reminder of simpler times.
