My son loves to build with Lego’s, bricks, books…pretty much anything he can get his hands on. He is also obsessed with trains. We’ve played this game a lot. I’m sort of a perfectionist and it pains me when I try to build something really cool and he then destroys it (like when there’s an explosion in the mine and the village I just built is completely destroyed). It’s really fun, he loves it and I love playing it with him. He comes up with some pretty creative buildings, bridges and pretty much anything…he really likes building 100’s of miles of mine track and then riding the rails.I haven’t had any bad experiences with the game play itself. There are some pretty neat texture packs you can buy that some additional fun. However, if you use a different texture pack some of the items don’t look like they would normally do…good thing they label them. I really enjoy the difficulty levels. I can set it on peaceful for my son and no matter how many times I tell him there are no Creepers, he still won’t go into a cave without thousands of torches and I like that I can turn the difficulty up on my game.
Love that this is a non violent game that we can play with our kids. Multiplayer without having to be online was important to us. We are new to Minecraft world but my 8 year old and 4 year old love it as much as my husband and I.
My son who is 11 loves this game . He has clearly a new obsession . The game arrived rather quickly and he started to play right away . He likes to build things and then he tells me about it . It is a game about using your imagination to make your dream worlds a reality. It is fun . The music is relaxing and the colors used are interesting . We recommend this game .
Keep the kids and neighbors on it all day. Both kids talk about being an architect now lolKids must have a desire in building and knocking things down, and starting a town, a city; this game is very detailed and patience is a key.
Just received disc in white disc package, and the old sticker from Redbox. Disc was okay just wished for the case to match the rest if my games. Small kine, can fix.
This game is never ending fun for all ages. I’m 32 and I love playing this with my 10 year old daughter. It is great for creativity and breaks away from the norm of most games.
We bought this video for Christmas and are not disappointed. The graphics are awesome, the dialogue is fun, and it’s easy enough for an eight year old to figure out. My son has been asking for it for months. The controls are self explanatory and there are so many levels we have yet to beat the game. It arrived at lightning speed with retrolio Prime and was packaged well. I highly recommend this game if you’re a fan of the Sims or similar games.
I am the unfortunate victim of a parent that listened to their child’s request for ‘MY FAVORITE GAME EVER!’Having heard this line before I assumed it would just be a passing phase.Nope. It is indeed his favorite game ever. Kinda makes me wish we had another TV and console so that the rest of us can play or watch something………. and ok maybe another one of these games seeing as how everyone else seems to like it too.
Was the best Christmas present that my daughter got. She had been asking for this game and during the holiday time I was able to get it. My kids play this game all day, everyday!
Love this game! It has endless possibilities and you get so immersed in your own world! From creating cities and homes to farming and mining. This game is so much fun, my kids love it and so do i. i have been playing it for a week and i still look forward to playing it every day when i get off of work. Its a great way to unwind and you can have multiple players. My kids play along with me helping me discover mines and gathering supplies. Great game!!
