If you like hack and slash games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is for you. The action is fast paced and Blade Mode gives you the satisfaction of actually dismembering your enemies with your weapon. The "blocking" system is actually a parrying system that requires you to flick the movement joystick along with the light attack button. If you time it correctly, it allows you to block and even counterattack.The story is nothing special. It takes place after Metal Gear Solid 4, but you don’t have to play it in order to play Revengeance. You get backstory to the previous games as well as characters and the world via the codec. The campaign is short, but replaying it on a harder difficulty will test how well you handle under pressure.If you just want to have fun some fun, I would definitely pick up this game. I got it for eight dollars when I paid for it, but it’s definitely worth getting if you can find it for cheap (no more than twenty dollars base price).
The game is kinda fun. The story is pretty much the 2016 US Presidential election, but with more blood. The final boss cheats though, so be prepared.
cool like it a lot
A little short but badass in a lot of senses. Cool music, cool visuals, good story (even with its flaws) and fun gameplay. There’s no reason to not buy it if you like hack n slash games. Also, you can get at least 4 extra hours with the free alternate stories DLCs
This game is awesome when it comes to slicing and dicing. I was blown away when it came to how accurately you are able to cut things in any direction you want. But one thing about this game I did not like was the fact that it was super short. The game is only about 6 hours long I feel like they could have done so much more . I highly reccommend this game if your a fan of the MGS series then check it out .
Let me tell you something about this Game , is not a Metal Gear sequel is a totally diferent Game in the Metal Gear universe, Raiden is here, but the Gameplay is diferent is more action driven and sometimes it feels like a button smasher, it doesnt need the strategy of the Metal Gear Solid Saga but is a very good Game by it self , is not fair to compare both , they re two diferent games in the same universe, i recommend you play it and decide for yourself.My opinion is that is a great Game .
Played almost all the METAL GEAR GAMES on different Play Station consoles throughout the years , but I sold my PS3 when this game came out. Order this game and received it the game brand new!

Ok so the game is insanely fun and a blast .Story well the story is ok not a major story just a decent story , but your not here for the story . You are here to play as the awesome Raiden with swords and slashing and all the coolness he has to offer . Its a bloody and fun game slash away at enemies run super fast and be an awesome ninjs cyborg .Its just a fun game
First off, I am not a Metal Gear Solid fan. But I LOVE this game. It’s a straight up hack n’ slash. If you want a clear description of how similar this is to MGS, think of how Dirge of Cerberus was to FF7. It’s a VERY similar style spin-off. Even has a similar story. My only complaint is the game is very short. Max playtime of around 6- 7 hours. Also has an amazing boss soundtrack.
