Awesome series’ sometimes suffer from premature/unsatisfying endings. Mass Effect was one such series. The game is awesome. the Stories and voice work set the standard for what I personally consider good voice acting in a video game series. The character customization isn’t the best but it gets the job done. Travel the galaxy, save/destroy entire alien species, love & live it up. Awesome game.
kinda wish they remade this but im glad they havent so far because all the dlc is on the 360
I am one of those fans, for, whatever reason, passed over the Mass Effect series. With this generation of consoles slowly coming to a close, I’ve had some time to go back and hit the "best of" lists. It’s hard to find such a list without Mass Effect on there. Simply put, this game is amazing. I’m only half way through the first title right now, so the polish and controls we are used to are a bit dated, but the story and gameplay ultimately work. I’m sure you can find a more detailed review of the actual game and gameplay elsewhere. However, as far as this trilogy boxed set goes, it’s not perfect. There isn’t a lot of extra DLC on the disks. They are really just repackaged together. There could have been extras put in here that put this into a "collectors edition" type category. A making of, a book of artwork, etc. are just some of the ideas that this trilogy could have included. Sadly, they are not here. All that said, this set doesn’t claim to be anything it isn’t. It’s simply the three ME titles bundled together. Nothing more, nothing less. I’m sure you could piecemeal the three together and come close to the price. I don’t mind paying extra for a nice, new boxed set free of gooey stickers on the cover, scratched disks, etc.I’d hope that in the future, game companies further flesh out these sets and turn them into something more than the sum of their parts. Unfortunately, this set isn’t that.If you haven’t given ME a whirl yet, I highly recommen.
Installed on my Xbox One S, this trilogy pack included several add-ons for Mass Effect 1, 2 & 3. Great value for the 3 games, I’m glad I got this so I can catch up before Mass Effect: Andromeda is released. Disclaimer – only the first disc of the 2 disc included for ME2 & ME3 are required to download to play them don’t worry when disc 2 for those don’t download. The add-ons for ME1 install with the first disc, ME2’s come as a digital code included, & the extended version of ME3 is free to download from the Xbox Marketplace.
Great game series. I purchased it to replay this game
Best game ever made!
We wanted the whole set and priced this item vs buying use at the local game store. For just a few more bucks you can get this item that is brand new and holds all three games. It was worth the purchase because it included some downloadable content.
Just simply marvelous. Yes this does play on the Xbox one, more than that, if you purchased the earlier DLC for the games they do transfer over as you’re using your account and profile from the 360.Replaying these games bring back that first feeling of experiences that came with traveling with the crew of the Normandy: the 1st one had bland exploration, but the 2nd one makes that up with actually making use of your found resources. Straight gaming goodness🤓
…in my opinion. You really get attached to Commander Shepard and all of her decisions as well as her crew and the universe that the series is set in. For all the space travel and aliens, there is a certain realism in the feel of the series. The people feel like people, the conflicts feel real, and all of it matters. I personally got very invested in the series and have gone back to replay it. I thought it was an amazing series.
When I receive it I looked at the case and saw some major scratching and wear. The case itself was in pretty bad condition. The first disk had small scratches but the rest of them were good. Since I’m rating the games’ conditions and not the case’s I’d say pretty good.
