Cartridge working perfectly and very good condition! Thank you!
This is probably the hardest game I’ve ever played in my entire life, and I’ve played BattleToads for the NES! However, do not confuse hard with bad. They are entirely different things. Yes, this game can be cheap, but overall it’s a very entertaining experience. It keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The graphics are great. My only problem with them is how the scrolling is a little overdone. This game makes use of several layers of scrolling, much like it’s Amiga counterpart; Jim Power in the Mutant Planet. However, here there are more layers and they move in different directions. If they removed the ones that don’t make any sense (some move right when you go right, when really if you go right, it should go left) it would be a bit better. The music…THIS HAS ONE OF THE BEST VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACKS EVER!!!!! The only reason I say “one of the” is because a. It’s my personal opinion and b. I think Turrican 2 (Amiga) has slightly better music. Speaking of Turrican, the music was done by the same person; Chris Huelsbeck. He also worked on the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron games, different versions of R-Type, etc. If your experience with the music is anything like mine, you’ll be rocking out to it or humming it CONSTANTLY! My favorite song in this game is probably Dark Corridor, even though the Game Over music is also incredible.Overall, if you want a very hard side-scroller. This game is definitely for you!
Brings me back to my childhood. Man this thing is still freaking hard!
