It’s finally out, Quidditch world cup! I got it first day it came out and it rocked! A must buy to any hp or sports fan!
…. quidditch. I mean we have seen it in the movies and read about this ” sports” in the books but it really is as I imagined the game to be. I like the fact that you can play for the Hogwarts House Cup and that you can play the world cup.To unlock certain levels and teams you have to obtain wizards cards by playing this game. The levels are from super easy to medium < others might find it hard > . My tip is to get as much training at school as possible before starting the World cup giving you a head start when it comes to the controls.The controls in the beginning can be a bit confusing but it will get easier the more practice you get. There is plenty of teams to try out in the World Cup that way one really doesn’t get bored playing this game.Before going to the world cup check out the inventory to see what cards you need. One has to do certain things to obtain some of the cards. For example only shoot thru the left goal hoop or win a game by only catching the snitch and so on. Once you have all cards for a team you can perform special team moves earning you lots of points kicking back the other teams seeker.In the Hogwarts Housecup challenge there is plenty of “best- times” to beat for each team. And yes you can play with all 4 teams. My favorite is Ravenclaw as for the fact that they have a good seeker.Playing in the Worldcup mode you get to see many different stadiums < I like the Australian one > and the commentaries if you even have time to listen to them are.
Quidditch World Cup is basically a sports game. This isn’t my genre, but since I spent an extra 6 hours more than needed on Chamber of Secrets fooling around with Gnome-flinging, flying and Quidditch, I thought I’d give this a shot.Now I find the game to be extremely addicting.The basic gameplay is simple. It suits me just fine, although some sports genre enthusiasts might wish for more, such as vertical control. Perhaps in a sequel.The International Teams are colorful and amusing. The first three offered up as a choice (US, England and Japan) are also the three countries with the biggest HP/videogame markets. The themes of the various fields reminds me of Disney World’s Epcot World Showcase. Colonial for the US, Bavarian for Germany. However, given the castle and wizard theme of Harry Potter this doesn’t seem out of order.Scoring against the other teams is amazingly easy. Most players will find themselves with scores like 460 to 10. However, it’ll be fun and the frustration level is low. Once the Comet 360 level is beaten a special 2-player level using the Hogwarts Teams called “Queerditch” will unlock. With another human player, the game stops being easy and scoring is low, making the dependance on the Snitch more like the books. This will satistfy those who get bored with easy wins.

this game is awesome! it has great game play alot of diffrent teams and 4 diffrent brooms.over all i would have given tis game 100 stars. the only bad part is the world cup has 18 rounds.

This is an absolute must if you’re a Quidditch fan or Harry Potter fan. It is hard and easy but not so hard that you can never win. It is possible :P. You can play as all of the certain players in each team. You play chaser, beater, seeker and keeper. It is absolute fun. I had a lot of fun playing at my friend’s house.
