I remember playing this game when I was younger and decided I had to finish it. Luckily got a copy here for used. Was worried it would;t work because used games have a 50/50 chance of working ya know? Well so far after a few hours I have yet to come across a glitch. The game itself tends to cut scenes quickly moving through the story really quick but performing spells as Harry Potter and interacting with Hogwarts and its students never gets old. My favorite thing about this game is what the background characters say such as "-at least Professor Snape can see how much of a moron Harry is" or "Gryffindors suck-" it adds to Harry’s anger which he has the right to be in this game with a lot of students against him in this game.Graphics wise well the game came out in 2007 so that should give you a little heads up that the graphics aren’t going to be amazing.Fun game for a Harry Potter fan. Even remembering all the speed are easy and my controller corresponds well with the motions (just a basic PS3 controller)

I’ve always loved the movies and have half of the games, they’re amazing, and this one is one of my favourites, it was in perfect condition and came earlier than I expected
This is by far the best game of the series. Awesome game play, love that you control what spell you cast by the joystick not by pushing circle or square – puts the player in control of their game. Love it!
Amazing game, perfect for the movie fans, because you can find lots and lots of easter eggs from other movies and some others from the books. The gameplay is right and the history mode lasts several hours. recommended.
The gameplay is mildly enjoyable, and it lasts about as long as you’d expect a 3D game based on a movie to last (a few weeks playing a couple hours a day if you’re trying to get all the points possible). It has some beautiful scenery and recognizable characters and voices from the movies. Fans may enjoy getting a feel for walking through and seeing the layout of the land described in the stories and movies. There are also a number of activities, puzzles, and interesting mini-games, and spell-casting is kind of fun if you can find the right things to cast spells on.However the number of spells is limited to about 6 normal spells and 6 battle spells, and the battle spells don’t get used much. Also the goals/puzzles are relatively simplistic and local. And each puzzle has one solution that you either find/perform or don’t. For example, there’s no such thing as an inventory. You can’t carry things from place to place. Most of what you’re doing is casting specific spells at a particular location to get points, and many of the “puzzles” don’t really even involve much thought (although there is one “aha” puzzle in the game that I had to think a moment about). You just get points for seeing things that you can manipulate and manipulating them. I think the most sophisticated puzzle involves stacking things in order to climb on top of them and reach something. The rest of the points are awarded for trying the right spell on the right target, and often times they make very lit.
Wonderful atmosphere and music, but the controls are a little wonky at times. I love the game, though; it’s a lot of fun.
Love it

Ok just to start off my review: I am halfway through the game. I am impressed with the excellent attention to detail! I love how much of hogwarts I can explore and discover, like many others have said you feel like you’re there. Another pro: I really like that you get rewarded by discovering things like passwords for shortcuts and putting puzzles together as well as the hidden games. A few minor cons: Since there is so much to explore, you end up running all over the place and it takes quite a while to get anywhere. This game is also easy to get through quickly. I’m halfway through this game and it’s the second day I’ve played it (granted I can’t put it down)(I am by no means a ‘gamer’ last game I played was HP and the chamber of secrets 10 years ago…). So yeah it’s easy. Another annoyance, Hardly (that’s a generous word) any music. I loved HP and the chamber of secrets game music. So while Harry, Ron and Hermione are running around the castle it’s silent. Just some wind, maybe a comment from a classmate but thats it. So disappointing. I find it weird because they were able to include hedwig’s theme in this game yet I hear no music. It really takes away the magic feeling when there’s no music.
