Good!
Great game
Guitar Hero World Tour is a great game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who would like to rock out. I love all the songs there are like 50 songs to play. You can rock out in Mii mode or even make up your very own song. If you are a guitar hero you have to get this game!!!
I got this game about a week after it came out and I’ve had a lot of fun playing it, since I have this version of Guitar Hero (the game only), I can only review the guitar part with the GH3 controllers. The gameplay is really fun, it’s harder than Guitar Hero III so it makes the game a little more challenging, but then they also added a new difficulty level called beginner, for anyone who’s really bad at video games they can just play any note on the fret board, drums, or microphone. The guitar part is more complex and not as boring as RB2. The notes go along with the song so it really feels like you’re playing guitar, and I know what it’s like because I’m an actual guitar player. One thing I do like is if you beat the whole game with one level on career mode you don’t have t play it all over again to play certain songs on a different level. The only minor down side is that they got rid of the storyline in career mode. The controls work perfectly, I haven’t experienced any problems yet, but I have the Guitar Hero III controller, and it works pretty well with Guitar Hero World Tour, the new sliding feature is pretty cool, it makes some parts easier to play. Multiplayer is pretty fun, you get the same gameplay modes as Guitar Hero III. For the people who have never played GH3 before they’re Face-off, Pro Face-off, and battle mode. Face off is where you and your friend take turns playing the song every few seconds, and theres a meter showing whos doing better at the song, whoe.
Great game! Fast shipment! Thanks
I give this game 5 stars for innovation, depth, playability, graphics, sound and overall fun, fun, fun! If you like guitar hero in general you will love this version! I did not buy the full kit only because my family seems not to love the drums and vocals parts. We purchased the guitar pack because we were interested in seeing how the new controller features worked. They are so much fun and add a whole new level of fun to this wonderfully original game. The track list is simply amazing. First, the fact that there are just so many songs, way more than normal in such a game, made the game well worth the price. The range of genres represented is also impressive. It was as much fun for me to play a song by Nirvana as a real classic by the Allman Brothers. It really fed my inner rock monster! The new controller and other new features (graphics and characters) make this game a blast. This is not your mother’s guitar hero! Hmmm maybe not the best analogy, but the game really does have a new look and the controller variations are fund and realistic. I found the game to be a bit too easy on medium (as compared to other versions of GH) but very challenging on hard. ROCK ON!!
World Tour is easily the best music game to be issued for Wii yet. While the game itself on all platforms has some issues with how group play is dealt with (the real strength, OTOH, of RockBand) and a few other minor problems, the Wii version is easily the best of the bunch. Why? For one, it can easily satisfya wii owner’s possible curiousity (if any) regarding Wii Music w/ World Tour’s Mii Freestyle mode. Similir in implementation to Wii Music, the real difference is that unlike Music, you actually “create” music using pre-existing loops/rhythms based on how/where your control is oriented/buttons used. Works w/ or w/o guitar controllers. Surpasses the Wii Music idea by actually giving players “a point” or goal to acheive, but in a similar control manner. And does so as an essentially tacked-on Wii minigame. My 6 yr old tried Freestyle drums (using Wiimote & nunchuck). She loved it!!It’s the 1st Wii music game to allow group online play – lacking in RockBand1 Wii (which was lacking overall). And it’s the 1st to feature real DLC & an easy way to manage it using both internal Wii memory & SD cards. No need for the tedious memory shuffle one normally has to do when dealing w/ Wii’s horrid data management. All done automatically in-game. DLC goes to int. memory, then game asks to transfer to SD, Later, same titles can be auto-accessed on the SD by the game. Nice!!World Tour really pushes Wii internet capabilities to the max & does it well. Once you connect to the WFC in game, you st.
Where else can you jam to eye of the tiger, and battle ted nugent? No place else, but Guitar Hero World Tour. I’m really not into having a ‘Career’ in the game or playing ‘gigs’ of songs i’ve never heard so there are a lot of features that don’t interest me… but this game is fun for all levels and types of people. It seemed like i had to play a few gigs to unlock the beauty that is ‘La Bamba’ so that was a pain, but i’m now fluent in latin-rock so not entirely bad.The only downside is the incompatibility between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but that is an overall franchise issue for the Wii, and not a knock on this game.Slam some beers, rock out… it’s that easy.
I bought this so I could have something to do on weekends… and now I’m playing every weekend since the past 3 months. The game is so addictive with songs that everyone knows! I would not hesitate to buy this game.
