A new favorite. We’ve been playing this everyday (myself and my 8 yo niece.) We usually play Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Fit Plus Balance Games (super fun). There’s SO much to do. You can do the recommended events at each resort, or go in any order you want as you find the event sims throughout the resort. Once you get a certain amount of stamps, you can just go to the activity screen and choose whichever event. You can also find the treasure chests(7 at each resort), find each photo booth (7 at each resort), do the events in or out of order, or just ride around in the various vehicles allowed at each resort. There’s also the Villa Grounds, which you can decorate yourself. You can have a dog companion and up to 2 companions in the game (on 2 player, each can have one). It’s a great game and has more to do than any of the other games. If you like skate boarding or rollerblading, the City Resort is one big skate park!

This game is very similar to WII Sports/WII Sports resort – with multiple different activities to do – actually more than those two other games. The other thing that makes this different is its “open world” concept. My daughter has more fun “exploring” the different resorts and trying to find the treasures than sometimes doing the “activities”.Hours of good gaming fun, one of the best WII games I think we have found.

I purchased this for my daughter and I to play together and then I remembered that I had purchased one of these Mel B fitness first motion detecting nunchuck controllers a few years ago and wondered if it would be compatible.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047Y06MW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00. Sure enough,it is!! This game is so fun, beautiful and open ended. I love the freedom to walk around where ever I like, I racked up tons of steps on the pedometer in no time! Love it!

My grandson and I have already gotten some pretty good use out of this game. There are a lot of activities which allow for hours of entertainment. I’m very pleased with this purchase!
This game is fun! I like that it has a lot of variety; more than Sports Resorts. My kids are 8,8,6. Some of the games are challenging for them and even for me but we still have fun playing together.
As an adult looking for games that provide a lot of game time (I like more bang for my buck), I would have given this game only 4 stars, but since this was purchased for my 8 year old daughter and she absolutely LOVES this game, I gave it 5. She just finished all the little activities really fast (a few days of serious game time) and was bored after awhile. But I will say that she does like to revisit and just run around there adding stuff to her villa and trying to get more stars on the levels. I think it will depend on your kid though. If your child likes goal-oriented games where you work towards something, he or she may become bored more quickly than a child that doesn’t. My daughter uses the game for more imaginative play (she makes up stories for her avatar as she’s running around the resorts), but not every child enjoys that kind of play so their game time might be shorter. Regardless of all that, I would definitely buy again because she was so ridiculously happy when she got it as a birthday present. — Side note: She had been watching the YouTube videos by Dazran303 and these videos are what made her want this game.

I bought several games during the COVID-19 nightmare for my children to keep them entertained and this was by far the one they played and enjoyed the most. At first, they weren’t too keen on the different activities as they became bored. It was after they discovered the Villas and how you can decorate them that they really got into it. They played and played this game all day. It has an endless amount of options and is not too hard to figure out. My 5 year old son plays it nonstop. Highly recommend!

Very funny.
girlfriend and I dig it. we have just played it for like 5 hours or so (maybe 8, lol), and it’s great. there are some neat things she would of never done on a stand alone game, like the rollerblading or surfing, but she turned out to be good and really enjoyed it. we didn’t even get halfway through all the courses, so it’s great to look forward to. money well spent!

We have quite a few Wii games and this is one of my kids’ favorites. They go back to play it again and again. It is an RPG and mini-games all in one. You can explore via open play or engage in the mini-games. Multiple players all at the same time! Wonderful. It is one of the better thought out games that Wii offers for multiple players. We love it!
