It rocks. If you like rainbow road on Mario Kart you’ll love this
This game is very fun to play because it’s so difficult.. I was very lucky to be able to unlock everything for this game. There’s things you can unlock like race tracks, I think around 10 secret chracters I’m almost positive there’s more than 10, secret 30 seconds video for each chracter than you beat the hardest level with, and machine parts that you can make your own machine with. The graphics are awesome plus the game is very very fast. Took me a few months to complete which an average game takes a couple of weeks.
This is a fun game, but it’s VERY, VERY hard. I recomend this game to an F-Zero series fan or a racing games fan, but not an average gamer. If you do get this game, you can enjoy the awesome graphics, the beautiful cinematics, and the lightning fast gameplay. There is a lot of replay value with a buch of characters to unlock and buy in the race shop. If you can beat this game, you have either had lots of practice, hve lightning fast reflexes, or a F-Zero addict.
Here is my opinion of F-Zero GX: It’s awesome. However, the difficulty level is extreme almost to the point of being impossible. I consider myself a pro gamer with excellent hand-eye coordination, and I could not get past chapter 3 of the story mode in this game, even after trying for weeks.Fortunately, I discovered you can buy something that will allow you to correct this problem. It’s called Action Replay Pro. I wouldn’t recommend using all the cheat codes, as that would make the game too easy. However, if you just use one or two (particulary the infinite tickets code), the game will be taken from “impossibly difficult” to merely “extremely difficult”. Once the difficulty problem is rectified, this game becomes incredibly fun.
This game is quite difficult. People who are inpatient will not enjoy this game. I myself, have a hard time with some ot the levels. The graphics in this game are better than that of the Wii’s.
I no longer have a Gamecube or a Wii but I bought this game in 2003 about a week or so after it came out. August 2003 if I recall. To this day I still have the disc somewhere for posterity, (that should tell you something)! and to this day I have not unlocked EVERY single hidden secret in this game due to Story Mode being so damn hard (Chapter 7 Grand Prix anyone)? But in this case this is a good thing, the extreme difficulty makes it a GOOD thing. This game is quite honestly, as close to flawless as you can get for a GCN game at the time. I can only imagine what it would be like on a Wii U today, or even the NX when it comes out. I remember countless nights competing with my roommates in college on multiplayer, and trying to beat Story Mode and unlock all the other secrets on my own as well. It’s fast, intense, and overall, riveting and gripping as hell if you’ll pardon the pun. Replay value is infinite, which is one of the best things of all.By far, this is in my opinion, the GREATEST racing video game ever made. (By contrast, the entire Mario Kart series is a JOKE). 13 years after its release, I haven’t seen anything this good ever since. And no I’m not kidding. 5 stars.
This game is tough. Twitchy controls with very little lateral feel. High speed thrills with completely unrealistic turning and braking. In short, a great arcade game. The unforgiving physics of the game give a quality which is just this side of frustrating. On some tracks, an hour of replays is necessary before attaining a level of competence.I am reminded of coin-ops back in the day. Total fun – Highly recommended.
I like much this game since it appears in the SNES… but now it’s more “speedy” and betters graphics…
Good
This is the best futuristic arcade racing game you will get on any system. the sensation of speed is second to none and will test your reflexes to the point you will feel that the rest of the world goes in bullet time :).The game is hard, no one can deny that, and demands skill from the first time you start playing. Patient games will feel the rewards once you get the hang of things while others will just shake it off because you HAVE to finish the game in the all settings to get all the content in the game, including the hardest levels. This game punishes small mistakes but the rewards are worth it.Glad I have this game once more
