The game is fully tested & guaranteed to work. It’s the cartridge / disc only unless otherwise specified.
You are Tanner, a former racecar driver-turned-cop. Because of your past as a racer, you are sent on an undercover mission as a wheelman for hire in order to investigate the Castaldi crime family. The investigation will take you to Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, but before you can get these cities, you must take a driving test and prove that you have the skills to be a wheelman. A great getaway driver is only as good as his equipment, which is why Driver has a selection of performance-packed muscle cars, complete with realistic handling, damage modeling, and real-world physics reactions. One of the major obstacles to completing your goals is the cops; they don’t know that you are undercover, and letting you pass would blow your cover. If being chased around keeps giving you fits, use the free-ride mode and explore any of the cities at your own pace. With Driver, you are the wheelman.

I love it, Thanks
I got this game to be able to justify my PS2 purchase, I’m glad I looked here. This game is probably one of the best ever. People say, “Oh, it’s nothing compared to GTA3.” The thing is, this game and Driver 2 inspired GTA3, so therefore, this game pioneered the 3-D gameplay that we see in all current GTA games. That is saying something.
This… My Friends, Is One Fun Game! I Loooooooooooooove It! I Used To Play It Into The Ground, No Joke Mine Fell Apart. :( The Best Part Is “Going For A Drive” Cuz There Is No Time Limit Or Objective, You Can Do What You Want And Try To Stay Out Of Trouble, But I Cant Help But Speed Past Cops So I Can Put On A Chase!!! Weeeee! I Almost Fell Out Of My Chair When I Read There Was Other Driver Games! I Cant Believe I Missed Out On The Fun!
Love this game!
arrived clean and on time
If you are just reciveing just Playstation or Playstation2 buy this game. It is the best car game you’ll ever be able to buy. With an undercover mission you can get many cities throughout the USA. You start out with Miami and San Fransisco. Then as you beat more Undercover missions you’ll soon get Los Angles and New York. The Missions get harder. But the hardest are at the end. You have a possible option to cheat and on the last phases you can’t pass them without cheats. So buy this game for your own good.
Thankyou
This game is actually pretty fun. The graphics aren’t bad. Not sure how I feel about it really putting damage on the vehicle, but it does add a more realistic challenge. Overall, this is a fun game.
Ever wondered what it would be like to run from the police instead of just pulling over when those pretty red lights are in your rear view mirror? Well Driver lets you do just that. You are the wheel man in this great game. You start out as ex-stockcar racing driver who is hired by the local law enforcement to go undercover and infiltrate the local organized crime. But when your hired, it seems as though your boss forgot to tell the rest of the force you were a good guy. You begin in a cheap hotel room with a decent ride sitting outside, a car similar to a 69′ camaro. You get Jobs or missions by answering the telephone in your room. These consist of anything from giving someone a ride, driving your car through the front of a store window, or even being the get away man for a bank robery.Driver pretty much gives you total freedom to go anywhere in the city you are currently at. The controls are very simple to learn, but for anyone who wants to realy experience this game I would advise buying a steering wheel, it realy enhances the game play. The actual game is pretty tough, the police can downright be insanely tough to get away from. The graphics are wonderfull, providing great eye candy around every corner. While you drive around, the game records your every move letting you later on make a movie of your most recent drive. The options in this director mode are wonderfull. Enabling you to recreate those cool car chases from the old 70’s and 80’s flicks like ".
I played this game when I was young. I remember having a blast with it. So I decided to get it again.I had forgotten a lot about the game but I still enjoyed it as much as I did when I was younger. In order to start everything you have to take a driving test. If you have no idea what to do (because it ask you to do things you probably won’t understand) it has a tutorial. It took a couple of tries and I was on the road.It has a main story line that requires you to do driving jobs and make yourself known in the criminal world. The story itself isn’t bad but not great. There is other ways to play. Things like time attack, dirt track, and my favorite survival. The graphics held up pretty well over time. Considering this is a PS1 game.Oh the film editor which allows you to create your own replay is a WONDERFUL idea. Something that seems to be ahead of it’s time.
