We’re all (4) having a blast racing against each other. Fun game. Pretty easy to get used to also…our 4 year old and 8 year old (who has autism) both love it.

This game showed up before expected I have a 9 year old and eight year old a six-year-old and a two-year-old and me I am 35 and every single one of them love this game it is awesome and it works perfectly
We own Mario Kart and the only track I can really race on is Moo Moo Meadow (the easiest track). I can play on virtually all of the Sega All Stars tracks because most do not have a large amount of drop off risks. I actually beat my daughter when I play with "Tails" the fox (Tails is my favorite character for this reason. He has a tornado "all star" talent that is awesome! ). I think that because this game is a bit easier, it’s a lot more family friendly. There is a large range of characters (including a cute female one called "Amy" – a pink hedgehog).To me, the tracks have more vibrant colors. There is an announcer who calls out what is happening during the race (if someone gets blown up, etc., it’s announced). If you are trying to please everyone in your family, then this game is probably for you.

My family tremendously enjoys playing racing games together on a console. We had the most difficult time finding one for our Wii that was any good. We found our old favorites made for previous gaming consoles (now on the Wii) to be missing the thing we most liked from each. After years we gave up, until we rented Sonic Sega All Stars Racing from Redbox with a free code. Then we rented it a few times more. It was definitely worth buying and is among our top favorite games for the Wii!
I purchased this for my fiancee because we really enjoyed playing Mario Kart Wii together, and I was hoping for a similar experience with this title. It definitely doesn’t stray far from the Mario Kart formula, which was nice, but it wasn’t nearly as enjoyable. It’s not a bad game, but Mario Kart is way better in my opinion. Most of the levels are ugly, have low resolution textures, and many of them are too bright and colorful to figure out where the track is actually going. And not having a mini map that’s the shape of the track is a deal breaker for me.
I didn’t pay $50 for this game! I don’t think I paid $20 for my used copy, but it is well worth $50! I had read the reviews and thought it would be neat. I played it a couple times and kind of liked it, picked it up again and can’t put it down, litterally. It has the same exact controls as Mario Kart on the classic controller, but the feel is a little different. Multi player games are very fun also, with many different options to them! My girlfiend tired this game and after her first time trying it she can’t put it down either, she thinks the graphics are more intricate than Mario Kart and is leaning towards saying the graphics as a whole are better than Mario Kart… To me I don’t know, I grew up with Atari and NES so these game systems today are like playing a cartoon. Buy this game! You will not be dissapointed in the least! If you don’t like it at first, just give it a chance! You will!
