this is a good retro game if you grew up when it came out. but the graphics are much better on pc or if you can find it the genesis 32x

This game is crazy weird. The game play is different but it is something you need in your collection. The red game makes it look cool too.
Doom—just the name alone makes you drool over your BFG 9000 and Shotgun. Direct from the PC to your SNES system Doom is a fun FPS on the SNES. With the used of the FX2 chip the graphics are not bad for it’s time and the music is quite good. However there are some cons to the game…1: You can’t save your game, once you start you have to play all the way through but you can gain access to the other chapters but selecting harder difficulty setting.2: Controls are VERY rough on your D-pad hand. You move a bit sluggish and the controls fell a bit heavy.3: Graphics are good for a SNES system but long play and your eyes are going to fell like you’ve been staring at the sun all day.Although it has it’s short comings it’s still the Doom we all know and love.
Only giving 4 stars because of graphics; they look very pixelated compared to Sega or PC. Music is far superior than both however. But DOOM is DOOM, great franchise.
FANTASTIC. Obviously after 20+ years the game is going to look a little dated, but still plays excellent. One of the most influential games of all time and on my favorite console of of all time? Count me in! I actually prefer this version above PC because I play with game controllers very rarely with a mouse and keyboard. If you own a SNES and don’t have DOOM yet, I would recommend it! Not too many FPS on the SNES but this one is a good buy!
i dont get why people dont like this i mean its not very pretty looking but its gameplay is great so if your a real gamer like me and like game play more than graphics try it.
