I love this game! You have to work your guy up in level. If you want other evolutionary forms, you have to accomplish specific tasks to get them. Then, once you get them, they are only level 1, so you have to work them up to use them. I didn’t like that part so much, but they are stronger to begin with.
This is definitely the best digimon game ever. When I first bought it I thought it would be easy. But it turned out to be challenging, which is what I prefer with video games. I also like the side quests for unlocking digivolutions and weapons. And the wide variety of weapons for your digimon is excellent. If you are a digimon fan, don’t pass up your chance to buy this game. Digimon World 3 is also really good, but this is even better.
Game Came Perfectly I put it in my console and it worked! I am a satisfied customer and I will be using retrolio very soon.
I would like to start out that i have had this game for well over 9 years, i then traded it in and now i re ordered it… it is well worth it, but there are a few flaws. For 1. the gameplay is a mash button but it has more depth,as you fight you earn Tech points in whatever you are using I.E. Guilmon Stab, Veemon Slash, Doromon Bash, and Agumon Blunt. Now this is a fun feature as it also happens with your magic when you level it far enough you will get another “spell” it’s around 500-800 tech with the spell, Which can take long, but i’m not complaining. The only complaints i have with this game actually is the loading screens, they take WAYYYY too long especially when you’re playing by yourself, also some weapons that you may pick up might say “Bash” when it is actually “Blunt”. Overall if you like a certain weapon type I.E. Stab, Slash, Bash or Blunt DO NOT PICK THE STARTER THAT HAS IT, you may think “but if that’s the one i want why wouldn’t i pick it” The answer is when you turn lvl 16 you get a digivolve into another starter that has a different weapon mastery, and around level 20 or so you can get a mega digivolve, Guilmon goes to Hkabuterimon who is blunt, Veemon goes to clavis angemon who is stab, doromon goes to weregarurumon who is slash, and agumon goes to Wargreymon who is Crush(basically claws). When you start out it becomes quite clear that you cannot run into a mob of monsters yet, i.e. hitting 3 damage at lvl 1 when creatures hit you for around 30. But that qui.
My husband ordered this game so he could replay a beloved game from his childhood. It arrived sooner than expected and was in great condition. The only thing we noticed was the booklet that came with was a little beat up which is to be expected from a used game. He has been playing it since it arrived though and has been quite happy with the purchase.
