Badassery
I’m a Project Cars 2 fan, and a semi-fan Gran Turismo Sport. Wreckfest doesn’t quite (but almost!) reach the realness of the car physics of those games, but the sheer insanity of the action makes up for it. As far as online play, I’ve only been playing the quick match option; have no complaints so far. I have seen very little lag, unlike what I’ve seen with GTS.I almost gave it 4 stars, though, for the following reasons:- No split screen play so you can play alongside a friend.- Acquiring enough credits (so you can purchase more cars, etc) is extremely slow. This is made worse by the fact that (as far as offline play) the only way to claim your newly acquired credits is to completely exit the session, going back to the race setup screen. This kills about 2 minutes between races, just watching the little ‘loading’ countdown. You should be able to just restart the race. Maybe I’m missing something; somebody tell me if I’m wrong.- Regarding damage realism: I have mine set to ‘realistic’, but I can still manage to have almost complete control over my vehicle when one front wheel is completely locked in one direction, and the other front wheel has broken off! Not realistic (but still fun!).One thing I would like to say about the audio settings: With the default settings, all I could hear was my engine; couldn’t hear the crashing din all around me, or the tire squeal when going around corners. Had to drop my engine sounds (and the others cars engine sounds) to 50%. Then the balanc.
Fun game
Its a game
Awesome game. Brings me back to the ps2 days but with way better damage detail on the cars. A lot of fun modes too.
Great game! The whole family loves it! My favorite is when they’re racing couches lol.
Decent graphics, a lot of good arcade racing and fun demolition derby. A nice break from long RPGs
Great racing game with demolition mixed in.. online gets really competitve and fun! Dont regret the purchase.
