Arrived as promised.
Even though it’s used. It’s in perfect condition no scratches at all.
I rented this game from Blockbuster, so I had to return it in a certain amount of days or whatever. I was so determined to finish it before the due date, that I was constantly playing it. It was so much fun! I ended up beating the game in a little less than a week, which is funny, because I take forever to finish video games. I guess that I was so attached that I didn’t even realize that the game was over. At the end, I literally said, “That’s it?” Big thumbs up on this one.
My son has been playing this game for 2 years. He asked for it after seeing the movie and spotting it a Game Spot in the used pile. When it broke this past summer he kept asking for another. We got it for him for Christmas to replace his broken one and he has been playing it since Christmas. It is the Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory mixed with the book, and my son finds it entertaining and fun. Not too easy, not too hard although there were some puzzles that we all tried and eventually went to the computer to find a tutorial. You have to solve puzzles by using the candy, Oompa Loompas to save the chocolate factory. He loves it and plays it often.
Enjoyable game, but some of the challenges are a bit tough to get through, no guidance to help out when stuck. Overall a fun and entertaining game to play.
This game is fun and has great animation! My only problem was it seemed like it didn’t take long to finish. Well worth the $ though!
In “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” you play as Charlie Bucket as he, with the help of the Oompa Loompas, has to rescue each of the naughty children from a horrible fate. The game design is really beautiful with a lot of detail put into each room and characters. The story is told by storybook like cut out characters that move and talk, which at first seems strange but you get used to it, but the opening and end story is computer animation which the characters look like something out of “Nightmare Before Christmas”, not to say that the storybook look of the in-between stories is bad, it’s just that they should have made each in between story CG.In game play, you must solve a series of puzzles with the help of the Oompa Loompas to help rescue the children. Sometimes the puzzles are easy but every so often, some of the puzzles are challengingly confusing and you find your self stuck on a puzzle for thirty minutes trying to figure out what to do next. Overall, the game play is fun. The Oompa Loompas are hilarious and really fun to work with! When they are standing still, they begin to do push ups to pass the time. This game is a lot like the Lemmings or Pikmin as in you have to get them to do things to solve puzzles. Grandpa Joe also helps, press a button on your controller (depending on which system you have) and he gives you advice on how to solve the puzzles if you get stuck. You use candy powers during game play; you throw Everlasting Gobstoppers at your enemies. You use ca.
