This is a true classic. Should you be one of the rare few of humanity who has not played this and have the ability to do so.. then do it. This is a living masterpiece and the pinnacle of 2d platform gaming. If 100000 stars existed this would get the title. As far as the cd goes, zero scratches worked flawlessly. Packaged well and arrived on time. Very happy

Exploration. Gothic Theme. Power-Ups. Great Music. Perfect Pacing. lots of Items. Huge variety of Enemies. Secret Areas. Well made puzzles.I really love the ambiance of this game. From the very start this world is just dripping with grit. The boss fights aren’t too tough, but if you’re like me you like feeling overpowered. Additionally, this game has several play modes. I don’t want to spoil anything, but you can play as people other than Alucard. Or as a modified Alucard ;)MUST MUST MUST BUY! That is if you like Castlevania games…
An oldie but a goodie. My friend asked me to purchase this game for him and send it to him. From what I can gather the game he so enjoyed a while back he is enjoying again. So he is playing it every chance he gets whether it be in the middle of the night or during the day.
Best Castlevania game ever
The best Castlevania game I’ve ever played. Sure, you don’t get to play as Simon Belmont, but you can still rock the castle with Alucard and the numerous weapons and spells at your disposal. Truly the greatest Castlevania game ever invented.
Its Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Lets face it: you’ve already heard of this game before, and if you’re still not sure, yes, it is that good. The level design, the 2D sprite art, the gothic themes, the music, everything is just perfect. The only thing I can say is, if you still haven’t played this game before, you owe it to yourself to play it.
