Bought this for my son … and, believe me, it was money well spent. He loves the game — spends a reasonable amount of time on it (though is not addicted) and hasn’t turned into a gun-toting psycho! I think young people can enjoy games like this as long as they are part of a portfolio of other interests — friends, sport, other games, film, etc. That aside, it is wonderfully produced, with excellent graphics and I’m looking forward to having a go at a car chase myself!
There is so much variety in the game, hence my title. You can fly, shoot, punch randoms, steal cars, boats, swim, get attacked by a mountain lion etc. But it doesn’t quite engage me as much as I’d hoped. It could be that I’ve only ever played one GTA game before, San Andreas, so I’m not as in love with the series.Or it might be that I played through Batman Arkham Origins immediately before this. Well I actually interrupted playing through GTA V so I could play batman. So maybe I’m not enjoying it as much because you don’t get to be batman…

I had to buy a new copy of this when my cat decided to push over my XBox 360 with my original copy in it. It was scratched badly and didn’t work, so I managed to nab a pre-owned copy for £10 on retrolio.This really is an outstanding game with so much to do. It’s a work of art – a true masterpiece. You could argue this is one of the best games of all time, and I look forward to what else is to come from the franchise.
Had so much fun on this game, you can do so much. Swimming is a lot better as you can go underwater properly and can improve it as well, you can golf, play tennis, go on heists, rob stores and gas stations.Gotta be more careful as the police come after you more easily than in the other games, the cars can handle quite well in the chases but depends which one you’ve picked up as I’ve found with one or two you’re more likely to go flying through the wind shield and dying hahaYou have characters that you can switch between and have different skills so if you’re doing a mission and one is better at shooting than the others then you can switch to him to take people down and then switch to someone else to drive them off.The police can be harder to get away from, they still do the thing of getting stars for doing bad things and the police chase you. You can see the police on the mini map so you have to lose them and after a while you can see them searching and have to stay out of their line of sight which can be hard because at time if try to slip past them a street or two away they some how know you’re there! But still fun getting away!The missions are quite cool and each character gets their own missions like on character seems to do a lot of shoot outs and goes to people’s houses to shoot them and burn the house down and there are missions all the characters do together which is pretty cool.I’d say it’s a game worth playing if you’re into this sort of game

GTA V is outstanding! From the story line, to the voice actors, Graphics, Gameplay, all! The game is untouchable. Deffenitely the best in the series. I wouldnt say its for anyone under the age of 18 for sure! Parents be wise… Walking around robbing, shooting, stabbing and driving over pedestrians isnt the best education for a young mind… not forgetting the sex with prostitutes, drug use… and acc everything. :D
