Assassin’s Creed is the next-gen game developed by Ubisoft Montreal that will redefine the action genre. The setting is 1191 AD. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart. You, Altair, intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. You are an Assassin, a warrior shrouded in secrecy and feared for your ruthlessness. Your actions can throw your immediate environment into chaos, and your existence will shape events during this pivotal moment in history. Assassin’s Creed merges technology, game design, theme, and emotions into a world where you instigate chaos and become a vulnerable, yet powerful, agent of change.

Considering it came out a while ago, it is a good game with really innovative graphics and gameplay. It really takes a different perspective – one of being stealthy and having a mental map in your mind. This is my first AC game and I just bought three more! I’m looking forward to seeing how the scenery improves over time!
First of It’s kind…but the thing is, and it’s hard for me to admit it, if you want to get into Assassin’s Creed, it’s hard to say this, but this game is not as good as you’d expect. The other games that proceed this game are fantastic and amazing (which is where I started, IV), but with this first game, mind you it came out over five years ago, it’s the first of it’s kind, and all those side activities, internet connection/syncing, ultimate sandbox experience, intense assassinating tools are not really present in this. Why?Let me say that the whole gameplay is completely different than Black Flag (it’s the only other Assassin’s Creed game I own, so I’m going to compare it to that). Instead of going around to different places, meeting different people, the whole plot is essentially laid out for you in the beginning, and the story is very short, or shorter than Black Flag, and much easier to accomplish. The amount of places you can travel to is limited to five, whereas in Black Flag, you’ve got the whole Caribbean to explore. The graphics? Eh, I can’t help but criticize it, but then again, it came out over five years ago, so I’m not too angry about it.The story? It’s not bad, but just way too predictable. I’m not going to spoil anything for you in this review, but let me just say, in less than fifteen minutes into the game, I already knew what was going to happen and how I was going to accomplish it.So, why did I give this game four stars instead of one or two?Well, here’s the.
Granted I played this game after playing assassins creed III and IV so I didn’t really care for the limited free roaming that it later games offer. However I still got into the story and the game play isn’t atrocious, overall fun and great to kill time with.
Liked this assassins creed pretty fun and enjoyable
I am a huge fan of this game just because its the first game of one of my favorite titles. Altair is tough and he puts nothing before his missions. He takes out 10 powerful leaders by himself and rebuilds the brotherhood. Although i wish, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions had great framerate like the PC version but the game still looks great, sounds great and gameplay is awesome. Highly recommended.
The game that start all the assasins games. I get the game just for curiosity and I never regret the idea. The concept of an action historic game like this was something new and it was flawless.
I have played and own every version of AC. Ubisoft hyped this game like I have never seen out of them. While the game itself looks and feels every bit as good and in many ways better than the predecessors, out of all of the hype my #1 complaint would be bugs. With a mature title like AC, I would have expected better testing and defect resolution before the title was launched.Apart from the bugs, it’s still fun (a lot of fun) to play. The storyline is great and the graphics are improved over previous AC versions. I would definitely recommend the purchase with the thought in mind that it’s not going to be a perfectly developed and seamless game.
I got my PS3 mainly because of this game, outstanding graphics, maybe one of the first games to have this kind of detail and graphics without only being good cinematic but all around play, its really one of the first of its kind, suffice to say that after finishing the game i kept coming back to it because most of my other games didn’t had this good of a graphic, now as far as the game experience, its great in the beginning i love to run, jump from one building to the next, but unfortunately it grows old, all of the missions are the kind of sneak, sneak on some guards with a crowd, slip out next to your objective kill and run for your live, go back to the base and repeat … it exiting!.. in the beginning.. dont get me wrong I do love the game, but they could do better than this, unfortunately most of the missions are the same mission with a different target, the array of weapons is not the best but its passable, the missions that have you looking for flags are boring, but the game experience its great. Now for the good stuff, the 2nd release its a lot better, improved game experience, better weapons, good story and the same fantastic graphics
Liked.
Love this game amazing story line
