Brings back childhood memories! I loved these plastic army men games, and I’ll always have a place for them in my heart. The gameplay is super simple, so probably not good for someone who’s been playing modern games or gamers who are picky about graphics
A very good pack of games that is family-friendly fun.Army men 3D is my favorite as it’s most linear and engaging. There is less of a toy aspect to it, but is the one with jeeps, cargo trucks and tanks to drive which is my favorite part. However, It can be very difficult to control with the lack of acceleration in the analog sticks at the time. So that means that there are two speeds to turning: normal, and fast turning by holding don the Circle button. Difficult to use but is possible and playableI have yet to play the other two but I do know that:Air attack is flying a helicopter with miniguns and missles and is ONLY HELICOPTER. So just know that.Sarges heroes is the most "toy like" and has levels in bedrooms and the front yard. It is also the most story driven of the three
LOL I use to play this game with my son when he was little. He is grown now and on his own. This game has wonderful memories for us and keeps him coming home now!! LOL Than k You for keeping great memories not ONLY a thing of the past!! Highly recommend!!

What you get in Army Men Gold is a collection of three PS One titles: ARMY MEN: SARGE’S HEROES, ARMY MEN 3D, and ARMY MEN AIR ATTACK. They are all pretty good, but feel dated compared to other games, especially considering they all have sequels on the market. The only other flaw that they all share is the graphics, which are not the greatest considering these were all on more powerful consoles.ARMY MEN: SARGE’S HEROES is an action-based arcade shooter set in real world environments, such as a refriderator or bathroom. The soliders themselves are small, making this game very entertaining. The new targeting system is much better than other Army Men games, and that really helps this game.ARMY MEN 3D is a dated third-person shooter. It is designed to be more realistic, but I found most of the game’s levels to be on the annoying side versus being exciting. It makes the package seem more well-rounded, but you really won’t enjoy this.ARMY MEN AIR ATTACK is a good, but simple, arcade flying game. It, too, is welcome in this package, but is a little too repetitve for my tastes. Many people consider this to be the best Army Men game of all time, but it is just okay. After playing the sequel, this really feels dated.Okay, so the game might not be the best on their own. But when the are combined in one package, it makes the flaws very forgivable. It may not e perfect, but you get a lot of game for the very low price. If you like shooter games, or just want to broaden your horizons, Army.
