Gameplay is a little wonky, but you get used to it. It follows the adventures of Tintin and the Captain, and you even get to play Snowy the dog at some points. Some parts are fun, and some parts…well, you just wonder why they even have it in there as part of the game…but overall, its a great buy if you love games based on movies.
Tintin kicks and punches his way through multi-levels while accumulating crabs from treasure chests to complete each activity. It’s easy once you get the gist of the controls and understand the task at-hand. My kids liked it because there was some challenge in getting through the levels but it wasn’t hard to complete it.
This game is really fun! I don’t go for the violent or evil games so this was perfect for me. Also not much of a gamer so I really enjoy it because it’s not too simple and it still challenges me. So far I love it!
So this was a well done game. It was fun but more geared towards younger players. Beat it in an evening after a full day of work… was like watching a 2 hour movie.
A fun game to play. Its kind of easy though. It has a mode for the movie as well as a mode for tintin and haddock which is after the film in which you can play with someone or alone. I liked it even though the mode for the movie was short and easy. Its a 2d3d side scroll game. The mode for tint in and haddock is habit more difficult but really fun. You have a choice in this mode to be different characters as you unlock them. Overall I thought it was great.

My daughter has been playing this for HOURS !! since Christmas… Just like the comic book/movie, the fighting scenes are modest and good for kids (obviously!). There are stages where you are seeing from sideways (not sure what the official name is but looks like the traditional Mario Bros look from the side) as well as sword fights and bike chases that are more first person-ish look which keeps my daughter engaged and not get bored. Because the movie is CGI, the game doesn’t look so bad compared to the movie look which is another thing I like about this. This game is just a lot of fun and I am glad Santa dropped this off for my kids !!
