Nintendo GameCube Console – The Games

With over 600 games to play, Nintendo GameCube is your one-stop destination for every gaming genre!

The game takes place on the tropical Isle Delfino, where Mario, Toadsworth, Princess Peach, and five Toads are taking a vacation. A villain resembling Mario, known as Shadow Mario, vandalizes the island with graffiti and leaves Mario to be wrongfully convicted for the mess. Help Mario clean up Isle Delfino and save Princess Peach from Shadow Mario.

Released in 2001, Luigi’s Mansion is the second game you can play as Luigi rather than his partner and explore a haunted mansion. Search for Mario and deal with ghosts that lie in the mansion with this spooky must-have in your GameCube library.

Choose this crossover fighting classic that unites game franchises such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon in one epic place to battle. This acclaimed game was a big hit due to its gameplay system, visuals, soundtrack, and more so why not plunge yourself into this nostalgic adventure?

Coming as a new and better version of the worldwide hit Mario Kart, Double Dash challenges Mario series player characters to race against each other on Mario-themed tracks. Not only did this game elevate itself with the use of 3D polygon graphics but it is also the first game in the Mario Kart series that you can play cooperatively, making this a perfect family experience!

Part of the beloved Legend of Zelda series, The Wind Walker is set on a group of islands in a vast sea. The player controls the series protagonist Link as he attempts to save his sister from the sorcerer Ganon and becomes embroiled in a struggle for the Triforce, a sacred wish-granting relic. Aided by allies including pirate captain Tetra – an incarnation of Princess Zelda – and a talking boat named the King of Red Lions, Link sails the ocean explores islands, and traverses dungeons to acquire the power necessary to defeat Ganon.

A great game to play with friends and family as you can take advantage of many gameplay options for non-stop partying. In Mario Party 6, up to 4 players take turns moving onboard game-style stages, often playing multiplayer mini-games to earn coins and stars. The object of the game is to amass the most coins and stars before completing a set number of turns. This is the first game to take out the coin bonus star, replacing it with the Orb star, which is awarded to the player that used the most Orbs.

I own a GCN,PS2,PS1,N64,Sega Genesis,32X,DC,SNES, and NES. Of all of these, my favorites are my Nintendo Systems. Why, you may ask? Because Nintendo makes good games! So what if can’t play DVDs or CDs? How often do you actually need to use those functions? I know I only rarely use the DVD functions on my PS2, and I never use the CD functions on anything! That’s what CD players are made for.So what if the graphics are subpar? That’s what makes Nintendo great. They believe that a fun game is much better than a cool looking game. If all you care about is hoe it looks, then you live a sad, sad, life. Back in the days of the NES and SNES, a good game was one that could keep you entertained for weeks or months on end! Games like Earthbound and Kirby’s Adventure! And as for calling it childish! If the only way you can amuse yourself is with sick and disgusting games that cram as much violence and gore into it as they can, then you are sick! I pity you, and hope you never get hold of a gun!If you want great videogame entertainment, buy a GameCube and buy with it Luigi’s Mansion and Super Smash Bros Melee. If you want mindless filth that will rot your brain and leave you a drooling, violent maniac, buy an XBox.Hey Nonny Nonny!Al

On design and looks alone, the GameCube may have been one of the greatest consoles ever. Small and yet powerful it was and is. So easy to unplug and carry over to your friends house in one hand! (on a side note, great weapon if need be) Everything about this console is nostalgic and satisfying. Just turning it on is pretty awesome. The graphics were some of the best of the time. Unlike the Xbox and PlayStation 2 at the time, which had more of a gritty look, this baby had more of a smooth feel. And it lasts forever. Mine has never had a problem. Jet Black was always my preference.

I believe the Gamecube is the best next generation console out there. It might not have the best graphics, but it comes pretty darn close. Its small and compact,(*cough xbox cough*) its got a handle fpr easy transportation, although its akward its not like you need a fork lift;) What the gamecube lacks it makes up in good quality games, Zelda, Mario, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Super Smash Bros., Pikmin, Luigis Mansion, Mario Party, Animal Crossing, F Zero, and many, many more. The xbox and playstation 2 only have a few. Those who call it a “kiddie” system, you need help, no really there is a great mental ward right down the street. Its got the link between the gameboy, which I think is great. I have owned a gamecube sice it came out. I waited in a huge line outside a Toys-r-us for four frikin hours, I know what Im talkin about. Im a diehard Nintendo fan, but I own a xbox and a Playstaion 2. You cant say Im being nice to the gamecube cause I own the other systems. The only bad thing about the gamecube is that its so powerful, it might drive you insane with it sheer powerfulness (I dont think thats a word) So I dont care what you think of me cause you have problems and Im perfect. Im so perfect I gonna name my son Nobody so they will say Nobodys perfect. Isnt it great? You people who bashed the cube have problems. You must be disgruntled 13 year olds going through “growing pains” Volence is not needed for something great. If I were you I would empty a bullet into my brain for dissing the cube. Ps2 haveing better graphics? WTF are you smoking?!? End.

Currently … Gamecube has the second highest sales for game systems. While it and Xbox significantly trail PS2, Gamecube is ahead of Xbox. However, it will be interesting to see how all three of them fair now that their prices have dropped significantly…. Gamecube utilizes an IBM developed 450 MHz (approx.) processor and an onboard ATI graphics chip. Gamecube games are on miniature DVD’s, they are about half the size of regular ones. Although many of the games are designed for all ages, some people think the only good games are games which contain the greatest ratio of violence to game play. However, don’t forget that Nintendo’s main success is its Characters, namely Mario, Luigi, Link, Donkey Kong and Kirby all of which are characters for all ages. Even Metroid and Megaman are relatively harmless for children. Nintendo has been criticized for the lack of mature themed games in the past; however, they have recently acquired the Resident Evil franchise that was, but is no longer, exclusively licensed to Sony (Playstation games). Nintendo also has Perfect Dark and a new Bond game (uncharacteristically violent franchises for Nintendo). The N64 was financially very successful for Nintendo and thus, led them to develop the Gamecube. It is not well known, but even though the Gamecube has comparable graphics to other 128 bit systems, it is still only a “64 bit” system. However, it is “64 true bits” and uses one SINGLE 64 bit chip. The N64, unlike the Gamecube, utilizes TWO SEPARATE 32 bit chips, that when added up equals 64 bits. Because it is not “64 true bit,” the graphics N64 are no match for those of the Gamecube. It also may interest you to know that most computers aren’t even 64 bit, but like the Gamecube, they are also “true bit” systems, which is why they look so good. The Gamecube is also cheaper than the other two systems out. …. The Gamecube’s (and Nintendo’s for that matter) success has been rooted in the universality of their games. Nin.
